After the success of his debut single, Don’t Wanna Fight, R&B/pop singer Qwote knew that he needed a successful follow-up in order to maintain his momentum. In a recent interview inside the DJ Booth, our very own DJ Z compared the Miami native’s vocals to the recently-acquitted R. Kelly. In response to the comparison Qwote offered immediate thanks, but it is his new single, Shawty It’s Your Booty, which tells the real tale. Although fans will instantly be reminded of Kells’ ‘00 single, Feelin’ On Your Booty, Qwote wisely kept his hands in his pockets (until they got home anyways). Either way, though, the production from DJ Johnny Quest and Juboy should be enough to get Shawty It’s Your Booty plenty of spins. Qwote Un Qwote is currently set to hit stores and online October 29.

Sounds more like a Kel's song than the actual r. kelly song tonight! Pretty hot track. The rest of the song doesn't really carry the momentum the intro builds up for us. I like the beat, it's pretty smooth. Good, not great.
Well when I first read the title to this song I kind laughed. But I really like this. Like the feel and can relate to it a lot. Beats good also. Banger.
I always love hearin this song sampled. Bone was smy favorite remake. "Days of our lives". This right here is very refershing though. Content is R. Kellyish but I dig it. My baby got plenty of booty and this reminds me of her. This reminds me of how we get down. Bangin!!!
"Tender Love" by Force M.D.'s, not Ready for the World, they did "Love You Down". Still Qwote just jacked the whole melody from one song and the catchy chorus from another song. I guess it is cool, but gets a negative 1 on the originality scale.
One of my favorite samples, this is kinda funny too. I would definitely dance to this. this should get some great air play. October 29 should be a good day for him.
Mmmmm the theme of this song is really deep and interesting...booty...tits...getting tired of this! Seems like hip hop talks only about tits, booty, money and fuck, and r&b only talks about love and breakups lol! Anyway, trying to ignore the song content, the melody is very good, cheerful and catchy. A summer joint! And I know it will become one of my fav songs out now...a song about booty auhauhauh!
The beat is cool. Its a good sample. Qwote seems to like more uptempo beats. I'd like to see if he'd sound good over a slow song. He can definatly sing. I don't know about comparing him to kells. But good song
Not bad. I like the beat, but for some reason I'm thinkin this song is almost too dirty to get much airplay. Not that it is that much different than other songs, but the dirtiness of this song is very exposed, rather than hidden in puns or whatever like other songs.
This track is ok. Although I am not a licensed therapist, but if you are having any relationship problems, play the song "down on you" by Qwote and the problem will be resolved immediately.
I can't get into the song because they took the CLASSIC "tender Love" and used it in a song about rubbing on a booty. This song is corny to me. This is a good example of whats wrong with R&B today compared to 10+ years ago. Call me old fashioned but this is GARBAGE!!!!!!!
