Qwote‘s last single, 808, may have helped ease his heartbreak, but it didn’t manage to secure him a release date for his debut LP. Eight months have passed since it first hit the Booth, and Qwote-Un-Qwote still isn’t available in stores or online—luckily, the singer’s come prepared with a backup plan. As the Miami native describes everything that he has going on In The Bed over a sample of T-Pain‘s hook from Buy U A Drank, his R. Kelly influence comes through loud and clear (could it be because they’re both Jive artists?). Slip-n-Slide labelmates Trina and Swazy Baby, together with fellow SoFlo artist Ace Hood, help enhance the mood, but the MVPs here are production team Twice As Nice—try naming another pair of beatsmiths who can blend harps and synths this well. Though Qwote-Un-Qwote still has no set release date, you know where to go for all the latest info.

This is solid the beat has a nice good vibe and all the artists bring some nice verses. Trina adds flavor and Ace Hood brings energy. The T-Pain sample is a good idea but it kind of downgrades the song because it makes it sound unoriginal. Rotation

Qwote had me followin him since that 808 track with Plies that was fresh, this one is pretty similar. I love the guest feature lineup on here and the beat was pretty tight. Can throw it in rotation.

Nice, but Quote sounds just like Kellz in the song. I understand that he may be an influence, but he should be careful that he doesn't jock R kelly too hard in the future

So many things go wrong on this track for me, but I can't say it's complete trash tho.
1. He takes a super tight sample and doesn't come close to doin it justice 2. His immitation of R. Kelly, like it or not that's what it is, is just karaoke night to me (although he doesn't have a bad voice) 3. the production is nice, but just gets so monotonous and boring 4. Trina has never impressed me (nor does she here) and both Ace and Swazy are lame 5. What the hell was that last part by Qwote? not even on key |

ok so swazy and ace hood give this song whatever it has. Trina is weak Qwote got over powered on his own track and seriously the T-pain just made me absolutely hate this song and i rep T-pain all the time it just wasnt right....swazy ace hot but the t-pain thing killed any potential

im LOVIN this!, This beatt is prettyy soothing to be honestt, Trina goes well on this, Qwote dont disappoint even though his voice does seem kinda low volumed, Ace Hood I didnt think would go good on a song like this, but He actually isnt that bad at all, ill listen again.

Wrong sample, very out of place imo. Trina was good, Qwote is forgetable, Swazy is decent, Ace Hood is a killa. I don't even see this in rotation, it's just ok. The beat is hot somewhat, especially when Ace comes on. I think Ace shouldh've did the whole song.

I hate the sample, lets start there. It was a good idea on paper, but the execution left a lot to be desired.
Besides that, however, this is a smooth-ass record. Qwote got his inner R. Kelly on and the beat is ready for some seeds to be planted (wink wink). Ace and Swazy were both solid, Trina always leaves plenty to be desired (musically).

I like T-Pains part on here. Its from one of the biggest songs of 07/08. Qwote's voice does nothing for me. Its not vocally....ummm whats the word..great. I didn't care for Trinas part on here. to me she just raps about the same thing all the time. Her verse fit the tone of the song but it just seems like thats all i'm hearing from her lately. Ace Hood and Swazy Baby were prob the best parts on here for me. The beat def has a nice sexual and seductive vibe to it...thts always a plus. 50/50 on whether it'll go on the pod.

Production is too smooth, you don't really find this type of RnB anymore (what a shame, I miss old school Joe). Sample is nice, Qwote is nice despite the Kells comparisons, Trina is the same as always. Never heard of Swazy Baby but they were alright and Ace Hood killed it! Loved the end by Qwote and it's just a nice chill song to kick it to.

whether or not he sounds like a recycled r.kelly,this joint still real nyceeee..sometimes i feel like we get lost in disectin a track in search of it's flaws,that we don't even notice how good the track really was..try this ya'll,get ya partner and grab ya'self a bottle of wine,dim the lights,and play this in the bedroom in the background while ya'll bodyin' up,then come holla with ya star ratings ;P

this song is hard 4 me to rate. overall, it's a good, mellow makeout song, on the other hand, when i really listen to it, it's all kinds of disjointed and i can't help but think of a dozen ways to make it better. oh well, i wasn't in the lab when they made this,(lol), and it's so easy to second guess someone else's ish...

I'm unsure about this song. The music is sweet and touching, I like the production in general, but the melody kinda disappointed me. It isn't catchy, even if they sound good. I'll rate this 3 stars

I like the production but don't like the sample...does that make sense? Qwote is sounding like a bit a poor man's R. Kelly which clearly takes away from the track...when it's not original, it at least has to be GOOD and here it really wasn't.
Trina, blech. I had to rewind the track to find out where she was on there as I almost thought I was hearing lil' boosie's voice at the beginning. Last good thing she put out was "single again remix" and it wasn't special because of her. Before that? "Naan Ni**a". I love T-Pain, but we hear him alot already, so the fact that we're now making samples of his hits is scary. Ace is the BEST part of this song...(ever thought you'd hear anyone say that?!) |

Is this a DJ remix, or did someone try to sign their name to this......... If it was a DJ remix this would be five stars all day. But it isn't. This dude has no original style there is only one R-Kelly. Find your own style first then sample other artist..... All the well known person's on this track did what they could but..... NO.....
