Finding your place in life is always a matter of intense inner struggle, regardless of how obvious the answers may seem to those around you. Thus, while you and I know full well that Question? belongs in front of a mic, it’s good to hear the San Antonio native work it out for himself on his latest feature, the inaugural leak off his forthcoming street album. Making its world premiere right here in the Booth, Where I Belong finds the freestyle alum doing a little soul-searching; over Hook & Eye Productions’ lush beat, he ponders whether he might be better off trading the musician’s life for a quiet existence as an average Joe Dopeslinger. Fortunately, he sees the light (literally) by the end of the record: “Once I seen that light on the ProTools light up, I realize everything I lost sight of / That’s the bottom line: I’m a dope motherf*cker, dope as anyone on that Freshmen cover.” Topped off with a soulful chorus by Verse Da Ink, this inspiring cut is just one of many dope records you’ll find on Question’s Booth-sponsored The Question Remains street album, set to hit our mixtape page for free streaming and download sometime next month.

This song first appeared on the Independent Chart on November 22, 2010

I don't know many emcees from San Antonio, but the one I do know is a monster. Question? where his heart on his musical sleeve and knows no different - as evidenced by this Booth premiere. The hook could be slightly stronger, as to pull in more casual listeners and on-the-fence fans, but I think "Where I Belong" will serve as a solid intro to the new project.

It's your typical Question? song. Nice lyrics and a smooth beat. Looking forward to the project in December. Shouts to Hook & Eye productions, Hevehitta and DJ Unexpected. They doing some good work to it.

When you do it because you love making music, everything you produce will carry passion. Thanks Q for making music that we can feel.

been following this cat out here in texas for a few years.(my first time on the site-love it!) im a radio personality and i remember Question fighting with his self over the balance of being commercial and underground, where he is bred from. though i wish him commercial success, i have to be the first to say i enjoy the underground more authentic side better. his splash of reality and cleverness is a breath of fresh air next to the boogie my dougie BS im forced to play everyday in rotation.

Hotter than bubba Sparxxx, a little more lyrical than yelawolf but delivery not as exciting. ive heard some other joints from when he was signed to cinematic and he's slick. This is like the struggling rapper anthem and since theres plenty of those-many will relate. above average but not 5 star

Haven't heard Question? in awhile, he always impresses me though. This just proves it, on my third listen, absolutely murders beats on the mic.

ok so i'm a little bias. but really feeling this track verse could have tightened up the hook a little bit but Q treats the mic like a spittoon and spits heat. great production

This is a banger w/ the right beat, chrous, and verses. The song has a great meaning and purpose. We need more music like this in 2011, instead people rapping bout bs. that really have any meaning or purpose at all. Keep it up Q.
