The 38th entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of QP, the Element 9/SMC Records emcee who brought us The Norm 4 Me back in July of ‘08. On his brand new, previously-unreleased Cleveland Invasion freestyle, the Ohio native showcases his many flows over a series of industry instrumentals by various producers. The emcee’s latest mixtape, Scream QP, is slated to drop this summer, paving the way for the fall release of his debut studio album, Born to Win

Damn this is flames!! I love when there is various beats for an artist to freestyle over. The beats QP picked are all hot and I like how he switced his flows on all of them. Definitely feeling this. Classic freestyle!

This was REALLY tight and one of my favorite freestyles yet. I love how he killed those Bone Thugz beats. Having said that, I dont think its quite classic nor do I completely believe that this is an actual freestyle. Nonetheless, a very hot freestyle for the series.

This guy was jammin' for real. Great exclusive freestyle. QP really hooked the DJ Booth up with this one. Flow and lyrics were top notch on here. He's got some serious skills on the mic.
(Side note: This might just be me, but he kinda looks like Romeo in that pic. Although his voice sounds NOTHING like how he looks. His lyrical talent is MUCH higher than Romeo's is/ever was.) |
