Revisiting old raps from Pusha T doesn’t feel weird. As a matter of fact it’s a glorious occasion that should occur once a week. The younger Thornton has been pushing out raps like G packs from season to season, so much so that he’s delivering a fitting re-up of his Fear Of God mixtape. Flipping a mixtape into a retail EP is a tactic now very much in vogue, and on new release Raid the G.O.O.D. soldier has an old track meet a new effort. Frequent collaborator Pharrell Williams contributes a hook and a production filled with sparkling piano keys and layered drums, which give Pusha’s lavish drug raps the extra oomph (bonus points for the Jumanji reference) and inspire 50 Cent to pick up a mic. It’s not the 50’s greatest guest verse of all-time, but it’s still the slithery tough talk fans have come to expect from the G-Unit general. Fear of God 2: Let Us Pray drops on Tuesday. You’d be best served reading from the Book of Pusha T along with the morning paper that day.

I don't love it, like it, or hate it. Its cool, an average album track to me. The 50 Cent guest feature is forgettable and Pharrell's production/singing is as expected, no surprises. Pusha T is all this song has going for it, but I guess that might be the intention?

Pusha T still has his skills way up! Neptunes production is pretty cool on here. Pharrell's chorus is decent but could have been better, and so could have 50 bu the whole thing isn't as good as it should have been.

Why do I get the feeling I've heard this song before? Meh The Neptunes are so over-rated, average track. Pusha-T the main highlight with a constant flow. Pharrell, very forgettable on here. How the hell did this make the album?
