Everyone has that particular person, who seems to remain in the back of his or her brain day in and day out. For Pure it’s a girl he met back in high school, who serves as muse for his latest single,Girl 4 Me. This soulful venture takes listeners back to a more Bieber-esque time of puppy love, with the much more grown-ass man vibe that Pure is capable of delivering on every track. The Venture Brotherz lay down an upbeat production over a more classic sample that allows for Pure to describe his perfect girl back in the day and the crazy games he played in the name of love (“If I get a chance to, I’ma show her what I mean.”). If you like the potential baby-making record that Pure delivers here, be sure to keep it locked to the Booth for more on his latest project, I Am Pure, which currently has no release date.

Light, airy vocals is what I've come to expect from every Pure feature. "Girl 4 Me" takes a more straight-line approach with the ultra-mainstream sound (as compared to past features at the Booth), but sonically it sounds good.
Blame Jeremiah's "Birthday Sex" for me being sick of hooks with the word 'Birthday', but other than that this is a rotation record.

sweet vocals,hot beat..i agree,the whole birthday terminology in some of these tracks are gettin real old..it was only kewl when 2 live crew and 50 Cent did it

Eh it's ok. I agree with everyone else about the whole birthday scenario, it is getting old and it kind of takes away from this track in a way. As far as production goes, well, Im not really that impressed. I probably wouldn't play this again.

Pure has got the voice of an angel. Unfortunately, this track is flat out boring. Maybe it's the production but something about this track lulls me into a mild slumber. Normally I like to be more detailed in my reviews but I'm not quite sure what it is about this track that just doesn't work for me. I apologize.

Although it has that birthday in the hook it seems to fit perfectly ironically.It makes me feel real good and takes me back. It has that classic reminiscent vibe to it! Definitely a banger! I can't stop listening to it!

EVERYBODY SAY HELLO TO ENRIQUE INGLACIOUS'S COUSN...naww im just playing.
well the beat feels simple and well boring, so i definitly see they want the artist vocals to shine...unlesss...hold up let me here this with my headphones of which only one ear bud works right though :( anyways back to the track....yup uhh-huh hym... even with the change up when he goes into this chorus on "red lights yellow ligh green light its still boring def a track were the vocals shine well though. production is exceptional hear too but it gets 3 stars, if it was shuffles choice on my mp3 player i wouldn't complain. |

I liked the lyrics, minus the birthday part (I'm gettin tired of that too). It could just be me, but I don't think the beat fit in with his voice. I also think the ending was kind of abrupt.

i actually enjoyed the beginning when he was like "we go point at her like its your birthday ...your birthday" but from there i kinda lost interest. maybe im tired and so the cool upbeat beat gets me drowsy. its nothing special. it does have moments when the production switches up. i would prolly enjoy this joint better if i was layin down on a beach somehwere all in all its prolly a 2.5 for me

Pure does have a great voice, I think anyone that heard this song knows that. My problem with this song is the production, it just dosnt suit the lyrics & Pure's voice.
Im also getting sick of the mention of 'birthday sex'. Artist need to let go of that subject for a while. 2.5 |

The only thing I will say that is positive about this song is that Pure can purely sing especially those high notes. But everything else on this track is just boring and generic and we've heard millions of tracks with this idea. Maybe the radio will pick this up but I don't think it had the quality of a great track.

More and more R&B artists. It has to be tough out there for an upcoming R&B artists, especially when they all sound a like.
Not feeling this one too much. Nothing about the song really impresses me and the birthday references are just too much. Obviously he is trying to get some airplay after Birthday Sex has set that bar up there for these type of songs. Would have like to hear some more original lyrics and even better production. Seems to fluffy and forced to be anything that could take off. Lets face it, you either have to have a really catchy hook, or get raw to make it big with songs like this. An okay record but could have been much better. |

It's got a more classical R&B sound to this mixed in with modern lyrics. It's a good song to play with your girl, but I won't be caught listening to this on my own...it's not that good.

He tries...I cant hate him for trying. I dont feel this at all tho. The hook isnt catchy enough to stay around in anyones mind.
His voice is too...flat...maybe i cant quite put my finger on it but I dont like it. Thats my only excuse i guess. His voice just doesnt work for me. |

Meh, this is a little too corny for me. "She loves me she loves me not" I mean come on. Not the type of joint i wanna be seen blasting or even wanna listen to secretly. It just ok for me.

I must be missing something here because I thought this song was right on for what is meant for.This is for the ladies and I loved the message which reminded me of r&b songs of old. I agree totally with DJ Z. This is a mainstream song and I can see it being on rotation. The more you listen to it the more you fall in line with it.

His vocal ability is a bit lacking. Don't get me wrong it has potential to be great, just not quite there. The high notes were attainable for him, it was just some of the transitions through out the song didn't quite mesh well for me. I still would like to hear more from him. The beat was decent, very laid back. It didn't wow me.

i think the production is actually a plus on this track... i do not like pure's voice... i think its very limited... i can see a ton of real r&b cats rippin this minimalist r&b beat... jagged edge would tear it apart... but this dude just did it no justice
