Pugs Atomz - I'll Wait for You
Artist: Pugs Atomz
Producer: Rashid Hadee
Album: DJBooth.net & FakeShoreDrive.com Present: Stormy
Label: Enohes Music
A superhuman work ethic may be a prerequisite for success in the music game but, unfortunately, it isn’t the only quality needed to achieve stardom; artists hoping to someday get their ‘big break’ also need a damned near inexhaustible reserve of patience. Pugs Atomz, for one, has both bases covered. On newly-leaked mixtape cut I’ll Wait for You (making its world premiere right here in the Booth!) the Chi-town native let listeners know just how committed he is to bringing the truth to eardrums everywhere. Rashid Hadee, Pugs’ collaborator on Stormy, once again mans the boards, backing the emcee’s poetic lyrical insights with a soulful, string-driven sample. Only time will tell whether Atomz’ skills and steadfastness will ultimately earn him the plaques and stacks he so clearly deserves, but his heartfelt style (plus Hadee’s poignant boardwork) should score this cut plenty of stars from our readers. Pugs’ and Hadee’s forthcoming, FakeShoreDrive/DJBooth.net-cosponsored street album is set to drop in November, but in the meantime, fans can keep it locked to our frontpage for two more leaks.

Catchy beat, this man is pretty good. He's good along with his rhymes. I like the song, and it's impossible to fail.

Good message. With Rashid's sweeping, string-driven instrumental providing an introspective backdrop, Pugs finds no difficulties spitting dope bars. Hook's a little choppy sounding, is solid as well ... BANGER!!!
