When ProHoeZak unleashed Superman upon the Booth, the record hit our readers with more power than a locomotive, and shot up to #2 on our Underground chart faster than a speeding bullet (hitting #1 just one week after that).  Now, we are proud to be the first site on the net to feature the brand new remix. On this version of the cut, the Palo Alto native enlists the Jor-El of the Bay Area, E-40, for a superhuman closing verse.  Known to Kryptonite the competition on his guest verses, 40 Water takes the opportunity to showcase his uncanny stunting abilities.  If ProHoeZak continues producing this kind of impressive, radio-ready music, you can expect him to make plenty of headlines in ‘09.  Keep your eyes glued to DJBooth.net for all the latest.

I never heard the original, but it goes without saying that the auto-tune is getting annoying. The beat was interesting, but there wasn't much to it. Even with the help of electronics the singing is not good. The highlight of this record was actually the E-40 verse, except when he tried to sing. The hook is catchy, I guess, but I couldn't listen to this again.

I loved the original and this is no different. Same beat except the addition of E-40. Hot production and he uses the autotone perfect and the chorus is hot! Nice club banger right here. This go hard!

Shouts to Pro for the chance to premiere the "Superman (Remix)" on DJBooth.net. The original was catchy and this is no exception. This is simply fun, playful, harmless music. Hip-Pop if you will.

I think alot of people hear auto-tune and they automatically register a song as trash in their mind. Sure theres plently of reasons to hate on auto-tune but this song definetly isnt one of em. I think I actually like the original version without E40 on it, but this is nice too

The problem with these complainers is that you can never satisfy them. The bottom line is airbody and they momma is doing Auto-tune, just like when Westcoast rappers wanted to get put on they complained, female rappers wanted to get put on they complained, kid rappers wanted to get put on they complained, white rappers wanted to get put on they complained, now it's Auto-Tune, so get over it!!!! That's what you all are gonna hear for the next year until the next thing comes along, so either listen to it or come up with a solution, I like ProHoeZak's original version better.
