In our media-saturated culture, you need to move fast to keep hip-hop heads’ attention. Fortunately for Produktive, he’s got Channel Surfing in his blood. A Booth exclusive world premiere, the Seattle rapper and producer’s debut solo feature (he previously hooked up with Carl Roe to bring us The Mini Tape back in September) and latest single finds him pinballing from topic to topic over his own lurching, buzzing electronic grooves. In between rapid-fire reflections on the struggles and triumphs of his artistic grind, he manages to drop references to everything from indie-pop group Passion Pit to the herb valerian root. Like what you’re hearing? More eclectically fresh jams await on Produktive’s White Noise LP, scheduled for release in the first quarter of next year.

Was digging the beat, but it quickly loses its appeal. His flow was decent at best, it just doesn't sound right to me. Found myself stopping the track halfway through.

I think the beat is hard, and I think the flow is ridiculous. This dude is just doing something no one else has the balls to do.

Beat is hard, second half way better lyrically/vocally. Wasn't feelin it at first but had me by the end, make sure you listen all the way through. Solid track.

Insert biased comment here ----> My guy kills it. Naysayers should put their beats by Dre headphones on and listen to trap music while eating something that strongly resembles a banana...... with veins.... weird. I challenge anyone to come with something like this.

His flow is superb.. It was a little different. I was feeling the edgy style and the beat was nice as well

This was OK... It was pretty different, but I'm not too sure I'd play it again. Good flow by Productive overall.
