Though Compton-raised rapper/producer/ghostwriter Problem has impressed industry tastemakers (especially the Universal Republic label heads), and superstar MCs (he helped out on Snoop‘s Neva Hafta Worry), he has yet to win over the ever-fastidious Booth audience; I’m Toe Up (Remix) and The Interview both received largely critical reviews.  Nonetheless, Problem’s getting plenty of West Coast rotation in the wake of his pre-album Warmup Mixtape‘s release.  On his new single, featured on the street album as well as being set to appear on his yet-untitled full-length, Problem invites a special lady to hop on the back of his Motorbike for a relaxing cruise through the SoCal streets.  Though the unnamed, Auto-Tuned guest vocalist adds pop appeal, Motorbike‘s West Coast mixshow success doubtless has more to do with 1500 or Nuthin‘s hypnotic beat. So, is the third Booth feature the charm for Problem?  As always, the readers have the final say…

I'm not sure how much of a PROBLEM this record could become, but I do know that its the most mainstream-appealing cut that Problem has unleashed. This has WC influences, but this could be a record from anyone. Its catchy and has the backdrop of some solid production.

Rotation...

Heat on production. West Coast 3000 right here. Love that aspect. Problem's Toe up was on fire. This is not the same type of heat, but this burns too. I dig this!

I can hear the WC in the song, but I didn't really think this was anything special. The production was cool, but this dude's rapping was average.

A-Yo! I absolutely love cruising the country side together with my Boo! OR rolling down city streets on my 'Avenger 200' (A cruiser bike)... So this is an instant BANGER!!! for me.
Production is more than solid and the topic is relateable. Plus, you can remember the hook ... Problem's approach on the beat isn't new or highly complex but he certainly drop some catchy rhymes that will mos def leave all the playas from coast to coast jocking.
