Growing up in the L.A. suburb of Rosemead, sisters Jessica and Janelle Martinez were first discovered while doing choreography for R&B singer and friend, Nikki Flores. Soon thereafter, the duo signed with Geffen Records under the name Prima J. On their new single, the Mexican-American act is holding a corazon a corazon conversation. Lending their ears to a female who recently parted ways with an unfaithful ex-boyfriend, the sisters assure her that “you’re not alone.” Written by their discoverer, Stefanie Ridel, Corazon (You’re Not Alone) is already getting airplay on major Latino outlets across the country. To hear more from Prima J, mark your calendar for the release of their self-titled debut, set for June 17.
The Guitar Makes this song!! They have really great vocals, and the Spanish thrown in there every now and then really sets it off! Geffen and Interscope have a Platinum right here!!
My goodness. They are finer than ever. Their vocal ability is beautiful just like their physical appearance. Stephanie Ridel's production is real smooth. The spanish guitar sets it off.
These are some fine ass women! I'm not big on their song! I like that spanish gitar! The message is positive. This is ok. Not my style! But it'll work.
This track is pretty...they can sing and I love this Spanish feel! Anyway I agree with SweetKissez, their attempt to rap it's a bit lame. It isn't so important, the song is good anyway
NICE R&B here, the latin feel is familiar to me, being a portuguese speaker, so I welcome it any day! Their voices are POWERFUL, they harmonize very well, and really know how to sing, so I expect great things from these gorgeous sisters! I don’t need to be biased by their looks to rate them high. :p DJJ, where are you man? It’s your chance to seem neutral (unlike back there on Cassie’s)! Production is really SKILLFUL and complex for a soft song. If you listen carefully you’ll notice lots of fine details on the background. Nothing wrong about this.
i was thinkin this would be the Nina Sky of Mexico... but they don't really sing that well... i'm sure this will be a hit, but it's very generic, when they say "corazon" it doesn't make my heart melt, just sounds too abrasive. yet the teeny boppers will love it. And FredRico, i aint feelin the chick on the right, but the 1 on the left is bangin. But i'd still prefer Nina Sky
Cool song....beat is nice..vocals strong..Reminds me of a JLo song...and they look good lol. Im not feeling the rap...why do they always do that in bubblegum music, jesus lol
im feelin da one on da left da song is ok but i have a problem their voices dont melt into the track like they should its like they're singing words, not lyrics if u kno wat i mean. they have potential. i wanted to like it, but i cant it just doesnt have that push it needs it as to meld together but it sounds like a mash of noises, not a flowing song
