The 124th entry in our DJBooth Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Pol-B, the Buffalo, New York native who brought us Journey to Elegance back in early November. On his brand new, previously-unreleased So Hard freestyle, the Ace Group emcee flows over The-Dream & Tricky Stewart‘s boardwork from Rihanna‘s Hard. Pol-B is currently busy promoting his new Clocked Out mixtape (out now), as well as preparing to debut his latest video, Gotta Love That (feat. GLC), and booking shows in the Southeastern U.S.

Readers can download a copy of the newly-released In the Booth (Volume 3), featuring exclusive freestyles 61 through 90, here! Volumes one and two are available for download here and here.

Dude popped up on our radar last month and everything I have heard him do since has really impressed. This freestyle is a one-take banger. Nice one-liners and great Booth promo.

I would have loved to hear some more bars, but what we got is good. That's all I can ask.

This was tight. Nice choice of production but I'm more focused on the guy's freestyle. He kept up a nice flow throughout and some good lyrics. 3.5

Smooth flow while delivering confident rhymes packed with nice one-liners. But I didn't enjoyed his voice over this beat, and I'm sure that has something to do with my new-found liking for Young Jeezy. A different beat selection would've definitely upped the rating.

It's hard not to hear Jeezy's voice while listening to this, especially since the Snowman and Pol-B have such different flows (Pol's not nearly as raspy, uses much more wordplay). Regardless, Pol goes hard, and you can't ask anything else from an emcee.

I'm definately diggin this right here. Brought a whole new element to the table on this and didn't drop the ball following up to the Jeezey feature. The more and more I hear from Pol including this record shows me that Pol-B can go toe-to-toe with he industrie's elite while staying in his own lane with no gimmicks.

Way to hold it down for the 2009 Hip-Hop Draft Class "fresh to the new scene"
