Less than one year after the release of his Atlantic debut, rapper Plies plans to drop his sophomore album, Da Definition of Real, on June 10. With his Akon collaboration, Hypnotized, still doing well at radio and his new single with Ne-Yo, Bust It Baby (Pt.2), also doing well, it’s a mystery why the Fort Myers, Florida native has decided to drop yet ANOTHER single. On the ego-saturated banger, Who Hotter Than Me, Plies asks his street audience a legit question. The only problem is that if he were to in fact ask them, he might not like their response. For starters, just off the top of the dome, there’s this one rapper who shares the same last name as Batman; maybe you’ve heard of him?
Its a good thing for Plies to capitalize off of his success with an immediate second album. I wasn't too sure about him at first; but his flow has started to grow on me a bit. The beat on here is a bit average. The chorus is pretty average as well. Plies usually flows better than this right here. Not really feeling it too much.
Some nights i'm in the mood for the Goon, i guess this is one. haha, the way he rhymes is unique to me but feel free to enlighten me if im wrong - he just slurrs everything and it grows on me.. cool beat, like plies, so in rotation for sure

This joint is OK. I like the hook sorta. It's original-like. LOL. I say original-like because it's still a cliche rap song.
Beat is nice. Plies sounds alot like Juvenile on this track. Rhyming is kind of basic; he definitely didn't come out with his guns blazing. Plies must be saving his ammo for something bigger.
Boo...stick to making records for the ladies. What makes all these new rappers think that they are the hottest thing in hip-hop? Let your success speak for itself.

i agree chef what makes these new rapper automatically think they the best as soon as they enter the game (this is why hip hop is dead, no respect for the craft)..........plies is okay i just don't like this song

I actually like this a lot..i never thought Plies would amount to any success but he has shown that he isn't a one hit wonder with multiple singles doing well and this just might do the same..the beat is fire too..

i think the beat rocz but the words " who hotter than me " is somthing i would expect from brittany spears I personaly think he could have done better with the words but ... the song itself is alright
I could be biased since I never listened to his album but Plies seem to shine more when he's making songs for the ladies. This beat and his flow together is annoying.
