Don’t let the tough-guy image and thuggish demeanor fool you; at heart, Plies is a big softie. Just take a listen to recently-leaked potential single Kitty Kitty, which finds the Opa Locka heavyweight teaming up with Trey Songz to rescue a beloved family pet that got itself stuck in a tree. Also, the word “gullible” is written on your ceiling. Seriously. In actuality, of course, the record is all about the female anatomy. Backed by the sugary, R&B-flavored boardwork of Fisha & Price, Plies drops verses packed with sexual double (and single) entendres, offering to make a certain feline shawty’s “...body purr.” And, in case the erotic overtones weren’t getting through to anyone, Songz makes things fairly explicit on his hook and guest verse. Does this steamy track have the makings of a purrfect single, or would it be a catastrophic failure? That, of course, is for you to decide. In any case, those craving more should be sure to pick up a copy of Plies’ Goon Affiliated LP when it hits record stores and online retailers on June 8.

It seems as if the Plies hit-making machine is done for good. No more Shawtys or Bust it Babies. makes sense that he pushed 3 albums out in such a short time.

Plies just sucks. This track is proof of that allegation. Medicine was a hit... this is anything but. "Kitty Kitty," I don't know how I could possibly take a track like this seriously. Plies ruins and destroys this song's chances at receiving any acclaim whatsoever.
Trey was a nice addition and is the only reason this track isn't included with all the other garbage Plies tracks out there. |

The concept is just too cheesy to get past. The chorus just makes it worse. I suppose Trey and Plies did well with what they were given, but what an awful idea.

Plies always has his songs always be overly sexual I think. I have a friend who went to high school with the guy and said he was a bit of a dork at Fort Myers High. Kinda hard to believe that though. Anyways Trey comes with a chorus that is really smooth but is just too sexual for me. I think Plies should show a little more kindnees towards women, but most rappers don't. Plies is nothing different to me and won't be as good as I found him back on the first couple of albums. Catchy yes, but won't want this on the radio too suggestive.

This is pretty standard Plies fare, he really isn't trying anymore. Plies used to have hits! (Shawty, Bust It Baby, Hypnotized) I think his total lack of effort is why Plies has sort of dropped off as of late (other than his ridiculously annoying ad-libs) Looking at the tracklist of Goon Affiliated, it doesnt look very interesting....2 stars

If I was a 16-year old female with an iTunes gift card or my DVR scheduled to record 106&Park right after school I would probably love this record (despite not fully knowing what it is all about). But since I am not 16 or a female (and I have not watched 106&Park in lord knows how many years - is it still on TV?), I am going to pass. It's not awful, though, which is good for Plies.

There's nothing that screams Goon like Plies singing meow meow. Just because Trey is the IT R&B artist right now doesn't mean you can give him a craptastic hook and he'll turn it into a hit single. The beat was the only thing appealing about the track. Too bad it wasn't given to an artist who could have done something better with it. Was there really no one who listened to the song during its creation and said...Yo this is crap? Did Fisha & Price really think this song could capitalize off of Trey's current success? Did Plies and Trey really dap up after this and think this was really a definite for the album? Someone help me understand how music like this even gets this far... |

Correction for Richard: Plies is from Fort Myers, FL not Opa Locka (Miami)People ride the wheels till it fall off. This song is way over gimmicky. I mean come on. This is where Trey will fall short. "LOL" and "kitty kitty" sucky attempt to attract the younger fans. Come on Plies do better.

Like everybody said, Plies is pretty bad with the lyrics but the average production and Trey Songz saved this potential disaster. It is catchy enough and can be a hit for the teen Plies lovers. Okay song.

Truth be told this is probably Plies' catchiest record since "Bust It Baby [Pt. 2]". This is ATLEAST 2 stars below that single on my enjoyability scale, but Radio and Beckys everywhere will eat this up [Kanye Shrug].

I try to avoid giving Garbage or Classic ratings though I dont think I can give this track anything higher then a 1. Its plain awful. The hook is annoying, Plies just pisses me off to listen to & the production is weak.
Plies was able to make a couple of enjoyable tracks in the past, but I think his time is officially up. If Medicine wasnt a hit, then this definatly wont be (I hope not anyway). |

Plies hails from my hometown of Fort Myers, FL. Now that I've given you that embarrassing fact.
This is awful. the hook is "sing-a-longy" (Although Trey does sing it well, damn him for making me say something positive.) But this tracks biggest downfall is that Plies got to open his mouth on it. |
