Plies has dropped the inevitable remix to his surprise hit, Shawty, and instead of having one new singer on the hook, there are two. Joining him are Atlantic Records label mates, Trey Songz (whose album drops next month, cough cough) and Pretty Ricky’s Pleasure (who just shot a new video, cough cough). The song is identical to the original with the exception being Pleasure’s hook rendition; it sounds like he listened to some early 90’s Jodeci. The remix should drag Shawty’s popularity out a little while longer until the Akon collabo Hypnotized is in full effect later this month.
this remix is absolutely amazing! pleasure needs to leave the pretty ricky group and go solo, hes such a legend and his brothers are just @*#$!. their first album was good, but thats about it. great song though! big up trey!
