During his rather brief time on the major scene, rapper Plies has introduced a new phrase to the hip-hop lexicon; the kinda-catchy, Bust It Baby. First used in his breakthrough single Shawty, the Fort Myers, Florida native, will use the title for his upcoming reality show, as well as the first single from his sophomore album Da Definition of Real. Ready to make history, Plies presents Part 2 of his single (not to be confused with the Trey Songz remix), which features the crooning of Ne-Yo over J.R. Rotem‘s upbeat production. Showing their commitment at all costs, the Southwest Florida goon and the Arkansas crooner trade lines about their respective ladies. Da Definition of Real, the follow-up to the gold-certified The Real Testament, will be released on June 24.

 I like the mesh of Ne-Yo and the beat. It goes smoothly together on here. I didn't like plies at first, but I think he is a decent rapper. I like his laid back and sometimes sloppy flow. It makes good hits. This is Banger material to me.

When I first heard Plies I didn't think he'd be sticking around, but he's definitely got some talent. As for the track I think it's an upgrade over the previous version. Ne-Yo sounds real smoooooth on this one. Good joint.

Love it. Loads better than the first one, and Ne-Yo is solid/smooth as ever (that's why he's one of my fav artists). I really enjoyed the intro which had an early 90s track feel to it and then they kicked into modern mode. I'm also finding that Plies is strong on this track as well, he doesn't sound as 'lazy' as before. This can definitely be a hit!

Always liked Plies, kinda mad hes taking the total "appeal to female" route though, but I can't blame him, hes got that unique sound that supposedly the ladies love so hes gottta appeal to them. I prefer Plies Got Em Hatin and what not, but this song he kills it on AS ALWaYS. Plies is very consistant I think and Ne-Yo kills it, much better than part one. BANGER.

I thought this was gon be another unnecessary remix but, boy!, was I wrong!!! This adds a completely new feel to the song and is the best version!! I liked the remix with Trey, but this one is a real remix because the beat is different. And I must say it’s a very good beat. Ne-Yo and Plies coordinated their parts well and the final product is a pleasure!
