With his current single, Bust It Baby (Pt. 2), steadily taking over the charts, rapper Plies continues to attract new fans to his movement. As if Ne-Yo wasn’t a large enough surprise collaborator on the original version of part two, an even bigger surprise guest has taken up residency on the remix. While producer J.R. Rotem‘s beat, Ne-Yo’s refrain, and Plies’ first verse remain unchanged, the Arkansas crooner’s middle verse is pushed to the third slot, eliminating Plies’ second verse. So, what does this all mean? Simple, that gap in the middle now belongs to seasoned veteran Janet Jackson, whose presence on the track adds a heightened sense of sensuality. For hardcore street music and smooth ladies’ jams, pick up a copy of Plies’ sophomore album, Definition of Real, in stores June 10.

This has gotta be an unofficial remix, nothing about this track changed except for Janets part. For the original version, I rate it a 4 because I have been bumping this song like crazy, but this remix is kind of boring and not very special. The remix gets a 2 in my opinion, sorry Janet fans.

Well I think this shoulda been done as soon as ne- yo took the track. Janet was ofcorce the sample. Now the song is kinda played out, so its hard to give it the stars it would have deserved. Janet's verse was ok not what I envisioned for the track.

I like Janet's little addition to this track, but I wouldn't go as far as calling it a remix. Her verse sounded pretty hot, would've been better if they redid the track to include her through out. Like the description said, it added a bit of sensuality that the track needed to put it over the top. I still love this track and won't change my original opinion on it (especially since they didn't really change the song).

Not a true remix but an addition. This song is already a solid joint but adding Janet Jackson is like adding cheese to a hamburger = cheeseburger deluxe. This hook was made for Ne-Yo. J.R. Rotem is in the right business 'cause he makes SOLID beats.

:p Anyone else thinks Plies’s next album will be a pile up of all the 15 Bust it baby versions he recorded to June 10? I mean, this is the 4th version, when will it be enough?! Seriously now, Pt.2 was my favorite version, but still the remix with Trey Songz is more valuable than this, since there’s only Janet’s addition and not a real improvement from Pt.2. So the rating goes for me: Pt.2, 5; Trey’s, 4; Pt.3… well, 3.

lol@what Fred said. There honestly hasn't been anything else from this guy in regards to that album. Well, he did have that cover, but that's just something else... To me, Ne-Yo still has the show. Janet isn't a bad addition, but with a song remade so many times, you just need something BIG, a flat out killer, with the fourth version. That doesn't mean adding a verse by Lil Wayne, Plies could've have redone his verses.

This has nothing to do with this song, but DJBooth might wanna add to their news that Nas has changed the title of his upcoming album to just "Nas". That's ****ing BS.. I was 100% for that titling. It was pissing off the media (or rather, feeding the media), and everyone knows that they were just helping the album get heard. The topics that the album was going to hit were going were the ones needed to be HEARD, but people overlook those type of things, so when you have a title that has everyone jumping out of their seats, you know they're going to actually listen to this one. Actually, they might've just turned deaf when they pressed play, though... I wouldn't have been surprised if that happened. Delete this post later if you want.

The original version with Plies & Ne-Yo was hella raw. I still jock that song! This version wasn't anything impressive tho. In order to do a good remix of this song, they would really have to change it up. I didn't think Janet's verse sounded that well, mainly because her soft voice can't be heard well over the hard bassline. I can't even tell what she's saying.

I've always liked Plies since his song with Akon came out, I think he's got some real potential if he just brings it out, i dont know why some people hate on him, he's just someone trying to make it like the rest of us, but i didn't really pay attention to Janet, still Ne-Yo kills it as always with the vocals, Album should do alright, it's on my to get list, but the sales are gonna flop because of the Carter III
