A new Plies LP is a little like a glazed donut straight off the Krispy Kreme assembly line: prepared fast, steaming hot, and way better than any, uh, rap album you can purchase at Dunkin Donuts—ill-conceived similes aside (I’m a little hungry right now), releasing three best-selling albums in less than two years takes efficiency, dedication, and one hella fide work ethic. On the lead single off what will be his fourth LP in that time span, the emcee sings the praises of a certain woman/sexual euphemism that never fails to turn him on. ‘Becky‘s unrhymability (Trekkie? Wreck me?) leads to a little lyrical awkwardness, but that only seems to add to the cut’s catchiness—the hilariously repetitive (in a good way) final verse, as well J.R. Rotem‘s street-ready synth boardwork, are going to be on repeat in my (ahem) head for the next day or so. An infectiously raunchy record sure to earn trunk-banging rotation in the Dirty South and beyond, Becky will be included on Plies Goon Affiliated LP (set to drop this September).

Its a decent track.
Plies sounded reasonably decent at times, the hook was pretty strange & the production from J.R. was good (though I have heard better from him). Plies - 2.5 Hook - 3 Production - 4 I cant see this getting many spins on radio |

This is pretty much the definition of hot garbage yall.....Plies is okay in some songs...but he just sounds terrible in this. Im feeling the energy of his flow and the beat as well, but overall it doesnt really work that well for me. 2 stars

Plies needs to try somethin else, maybe construction. however i guarantee this will bang in the south, the way songs like Stanky Leg do. And in the north at all white house parties filled with drunk adolescents who wish to be hood.

Not bad. I know it says lead single, but I'm not sure even a re-worked edit can make this one clean enough for radio. The production was pretty hot, and should do enough for another 1-hit single from another Plies album.

Plies kills it ALL DAY. No one can make a song like this but him. He has a way of making it obscene but listenable. Been a fan of plies forever and still am, and unlike Lil Wayne, I'm not sick of him yet. Looking forward to his 4th banging album.

dj Z, i'm not too sure many people would like their name to be used as a slang term for oral sex but anyways, plies is always entertaining to me the beat is ridiculous. JR Rotem went to work on this beat, and plies was decent , banger. If this song gets big, i feel bad for all the girls named becky, head will always be associated with that name from now on.
