In Pleasure P‘s recent interview with our own DJ Z, the singer was eager to discuss the more mature outlook that would set his solo work apart from his Pretty Ricky-era output, and his latest single can be viewed as a case in point—where the foursome dealt mostly in single-entendre jams, Pleasure P the solo artist prefers to play it a bit more subtly, knowing that a little innuendo can go a long way. On this track, the singer dives Under for a special lady, promising not to come up for air till she’s “...screamin’ ‘I give up!’” And what could be more wholesome or romantic than a moonlit swim… right? In addition to co-writing the record with Cooper, fellow R&B Heartbreaker Tank amps up the steamy ambiance from behind the boards—though his beat features all the slow-jam staples (piano, windchimes, strings, check, check, and check), his breathlessly syncopated percussion is an inspired touch. If you’re a fan of the new-and-improved, smoother-than-ever Pleasure P, be sure to pick up a copy of The Introduction of Marcus Cooper when it hits stores June 9th.

Smooth production, I could have probably imagined Pleasure P on this even if I had just heard the instrumental. I like the song though, wouldn’t personally listen to it for my enjoyment but I have no complaints with the track. Solid.

Not as good as Boyfreind #2, buts still a solid album track.
Pleasure P wasnt exactly a happy chappy in the interview with Z, especially when he got the questions about his Pretty Ricky days (which had to be asked). |

With "Boyfriend #2" topping the charts last week, it will be hard for Pleasure to find any song on his album that can match its success. No knock on P, its just VERY hard to do in the current climate of the industry. As for "Under," this has "solid album cut" written all over it.
Tank is the MAN behind the boards, but this just won't be anything more than an average Top 20 (maybe) offering.

This is a smooth, sexy and relaxing rnb song...Pleasure P sounds cool here, I like his voice and the way he sings! I get tired of this type of songs very soon, but it is ok in an hip hop mix :P

This is the type of smooth, subtly dirty R&B track that made me fall in love wit the genre in the 90's. I knew P would put out a creamy R&B BANGER like this eventually, I've always liked his vocals. While Boyfriend #2 is a great and catchy track that I love, this is the kinda track that reminds me of 90's R&B's best songs. This WILL be in my summer rotation!

When I first listened to it, I thought it was smooth, sexy, overall a decent track. But after a second listen, I paid close attention to the lyrics, that is the real standout. Love the whole theme of water-related sex. This should blow up, especially in UAC!

I like it, so far I've liked a majority of the Pleasure P songs here on the booth. He's talented and can maek some great songs. Like most of you said I wouldn't be bumping this in my car or something, but for what it is, it's very good.
