Ready to establish himself as more than just Bohagon‘s protégé, Stone Mountain native Playboy Tre plans to lead a movement that brings a country sound back into Atlanta hip-hop. For step one of his new plan, he has teamed up with DJ Swatts to release the “album before the album,” Good Bye America: Da Story of a Drunk Loner, on February 26. Certainly not a drunk loner himself, Tre meets up with fellow ATL MC, B.o.B., and the two spend their time watching a pretty lady who is addicted to the Nite Life. Assisted by a club-ready beat courtesy of former ColliPark artist Homebwoi, this southern-fried anthem will hit the streets later this month.
I don't know about B.O.B being "the most slept on rapper," however, I do know he does a nice job on this track. This is a cute song, but not one that I will be blasting in my car or at the club.
most under-rated rapper who still hasn't properly made it into the game is Bossman in my books, Law & Order was a hard ass CD. but this beginning/hook/rapper are all pretty bad. I don't like this to be perfectly honest, can't really see why you guys rate this guy highly. but it's all good.
I don't know about this track right here. It reminds me of something black-eyed Peas would do; but they would do it better than this for sure. I don't think I can finish this track. It's ok, but I wouldn't listen to it again.
I like it, but I don't see the country influence hes supposedly trying to put in hip hop, only one I've seen do that is Bubba Sparxxx and he did it well. Sounds kanye-ish.... not a huge fan of that.
this is a chill track. i'd say a 3.
as for B.o.B., I listened to one of his mixtapes recently. He spits a few good bars but his main success is how his music is really entertaining for me, not quite in the way hip-hop does these days
