Pitbull - Hotel Room Service
Artist: Pitbull
Producer: Jim Jonsin
Album: Rebelution
Label: PoloGrounds/J/Mr. 305 Inc.
Though the three studio albums he released at TVT Records were chock full of club bangers, Pitbull has scored his biggest hits to date (the Lil’ Jon-assisted Krazy, which peaked at #30 on the Billboard Hot 100 and I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho), which hit #11), as a free agent. That independent success has landed him a deal with major label Polo Grounds Music/J Records. Though the two aforementioned singles have since been re-released, today we present the emcee’s first all-original single at his new label home. For his newest party jam, Mr. 305 and hitmaking producer Jim Jonsin bring a few ladies back to their suite for some Hotel Room Service. In keeping with Pit’s recent penchant for classic club samples, Mr. Rebel Rock backs the rapper’s rhymes with a snippet of the Nightcrawlers’ house standard Push the Feeling On. Expect Pitbull to continue heating up dancefloors everywhere this summer, building fan anticipation for Rebelution‘s September 1st release.

This track is a lil below par for Pitbull, I know he's capable of much better. This track is OK, just for the simple fact that it can get the clubs BANGIN for real. Not me tho. Pitbull's vocals didn't entertain me like they normally do on his club bangers, and the beat and hook are WAY to corny for me. Everything about this is just too simple, nothing that stands out.

I've profited off of the DJ Booth for a long time now, impressing many a lady with my fine selection of records just weeks away from being on the radio and completely ubiquitous. It's finally time to give back. So here I am.
I'm personally getting tired of Pitbull riding the popularity of fly house tracks without adding a whole lot to them. Anybody else agree? Going to move the club, but not really moving me. Perfectly average. |

This is not really that good. They should have left this classic track alone and not abuse it

pitbull just fails for me. im trying to think of there's been a song by him i like, and for the life of me, im yet to REMEMBER one of them.
he releases a lot of forgettable tracks. and has he always been a "club" rapper? cuz that really seems like all he's going for now-a-days... |

People...think of how this will do at the CLUBS! (It's a DJ's dream track, and this is the DJBooth, right?)
Another note: Now you can't say all Jim Jonsin tracks sound the same anymore! |

The hook is catchy but sounds lame at the same time. The beat has a lot of energy and Pitbull is on point with his voice. I can see this killing the clubs for me its just decent

Pitbull is a love him or hate him artist. I, personally, love his work. It just gets me hyped up. Lyrically, he doesn't always impress but what the hell. That's not what he's here for.

i wanna get krazy wit that krazy beat! i think hook is maybe a lil corny, but im really feelin it. a catchy hook is essential to a club banger, and this def does the trick.

Yes sir...this will do some serious damage in the club. Once a while, it's a good strategy to sample a classic beat.

Burmy is right, this will make noise from club to club across the land LOL. Pitbull is a hit or miss for me, for example I hate his current single. But this one was fire, great energy and production.

Looks like another club banger, probably won't live up to the success of "I Know You Want Me".

Pitbull is Flo Rida's only competition when it comes to the 'king of the clubs' tag, This song proves it.
Loved the production from Jonsin & Pitbull comes with a lot of energy (though lyrically he's pretty ordinary). |

Burmy and I talk everyday and I tend to agree with him on a lot of fronts. Let me just say, he couldn't be more right here! You know what you are getting with Pitbull. Some might feel he is too one-dimensional, but I could name 10 successful artists who fall victim to that same stipulation.
This is HEAT. No arguments! |

-Lyrics
First of all I apologize that I get technical in doing these reviews, but I just feel the need to cause it's only the truth lol. But anyways the lyrics aren't that great so unfortunatley it doesn't bring out the full potential of this song as it should have. the lyrics certainly don't match like it did with his other songs such as "Culo", "Toma", or "Ay Chico (Lengua Afuera)." So it could easily be mistaken for skip material for that simple reason. But on the upside it does have a catchy chorus which is one of the most important things in a song! But his verses is nothing sing-a-long. -Production Oddly very good pop-production from Jim Jonsin, something that's unexpected from him (long ways from "Kiss Me Thru The Phone" and "Whatever U Like")... I also feel that the vocals wern't mixed/blended well with the beat which knocks off half a star... Personally I think this beat shoulda been given to Flo-Rida, it's more of his type of song than Pitbull's. Pitbull should stick to his Latin-Rap/Reggaeton sound, not pop music. But overall this track is okay to me it's something I could listn all the way through one time, not anything repeat material worthy, radio stations, and parties/clubs would play the heck out of it though... 2.5 stars from me... |

Pitbull is a hit maker as long as I can remember. One of my favorite songs of his is go girl, lol despite the song name it bangs hard. This is no excuse, just a fun song to blast in the summer.

This isn't that bad...It'll move me in the club, but I'm not sure I'd want to hear it anywhere else. It'll be put in rotation. I'm sure we'll be hearing a remix in no time, hopefully some guest verses take this song up a notch.
