Many ‘anthems’ have made their way into car stereos and club speakers. They include, but are certainly not limited to, street anthems, party anthems, smoking anthems, drinking anthems, player anthems and ridin’ anthems. So what is Pitbull’s new single, The Anthem, all about? Well, to find out you need to speak Spanish. On the other hand, with an infectious club beat from Lil’ Jon and Pitbull’s insane energy and speed on the mic, it doesn’t really matter what language the song is in. The purpose of the ‘anthem’ is to find a partner of the opposite sex and grind it out on the dance floor… until both participants are dripping in their own sweat. So take an ice cold bath and peep Pitbull’s fourth studio album,The Boatlift, on November 27th.
Pitbull's songs all sound the same. He keeps the same flow, some tone, same production style, and of course the same content. The entire Pitbull/Ying Yang Twins/Lil Jon era is over.
I guess lil jon is back to stay now. I remember this club beat from back in the Day, but this twist is cool too...Don't like it a whole lot and don't hate it either.
Same old pitbull, different day. You better put this one in your crate; they'll be asking for it. I like the background house-beat: "destination calabria" by Alex Gaudino.
LATINO's STAND UP!!!!Pitbull is my FAV latin-mc!!!! I think you gotta understand the Spanish parts to REALLY appreciate this song to the fullest. And look at Lil Jon speaking spanish talking about "DALE, DALE", lol. Hey Z don't you think we should have a Reggaeton section on here too? There are some great Reggaeton mc's out there too!- Miss Gorgoues aka Latin Princess
Auhauhauhauh this is @*#$!! A mix of reggaeton and a techno song we used to dance here in Italy a couple of years ago...I hated that song, and I'm hating this too!
