While the lyrics on Pitbull‘s next album, Armando (dropping in May) will be totalmente en español, the Latin-rap heavyweight isn’t leaving his many non-Spanish-speaking fans behind – Planet Pit, his next next album, will find him back to rapping (for the most part) en inglés. On the latter project’s lead single, Alright, Pit riffs on a familiar club-music theme, paying tribute to a shawty whose seductive dance moves have had him glancing her way all evening. The headliner’s bilingual game-spitting, delivered over producer Marc “MK” Kinchen‘s dancefloor-ready blend of driving percussion and Latin brass, is as ear-catching as ever (though the Haiti analogy seems a little… out of place), and Trinidadian singer Machel Monatano does his part to keep the party rocking, contributing a singalong hook as well as taking center stage on the amped-up bridge. This track is most definitely better than Alright, but is it in the same league as Pitbull’s previous smash hits? That’s for you to decide. Whatever your take, though, you’ll want to keep it locked for release details on Planet Pit, scheduled to land on store shelves late this year.

This is muy fresco! Pitbull was better than usual and Machel Montano has a real cool voice that just makes me wanna get down. The vibe of this song is pure FUEGO! Pitbull needs to do something about that chest hair though, it's crawling up his neck!

Not as catchy as some of his past highly-successful club hits, but dancefloor-worthy nonetheless.

Did someone say sample?. He Took Machel Montano's "Ramajay" for the first verse and it sounds better on the actual song. This is terrible from the first 10 seconds.

This track isnt bad, though it isnt as good as some of his previous hits. Decent for the dancefloor, though nothing i would listen at home or in the car.

At first I wasn't that impressed with
this, but after the track ended I found myself subconsciously singing it in my head. Damnit, the man only makes catchy tracks. @149th "He completely misrepresent the spanish culture." <<< That's a pretty sweeping statement. The "spanish" culture" is an enormously large and complex thing, from the barrios of Puerto Rico to the vineyards of Argentina. Pit represents only a small portion of Spanish culture. |

an ok club song. itll be in rotation a lil in the clubs for a while, but the lyrics could have done the production more justice. personally not feeling it. and itll cross oceans but isnt gonna be the next pitbull hit.

Like most Pitbull songs this was below average. This track will not catch on like his other songs because the hook is not as catchy.

We'll see how this does. It warrants rotation, but more of a Club Set filler to me.
