Many artists use their origins as an inspiration for their music, whether it’s their state, city, or neighborhood. Pill, who hails from the “Pink City” block in Atlanta, has found exactly such inspiration on his new track Hear Somebody Comin’. The record has a gritty, realistic feel that proves Pill is an artist on the rise. Produced by Tha Bizness, the second the beat drops, a loud siren blares in the background and Pill immediately drops the ominous hook: “I think I hear somebody coming.” His first verse comes in quick and fast, but is smooth, and his flow is reminiscent of rapper Papoose. Pill has his fingers on the pulse of pop culture and proves it with lines like “I’m the caped crusader, you gonna have to unmask me.” Hear Somebody Comin is the first leak off the new Evil Empire & DJ Skee Presents 4075: The Refill Mixtape, which is set to drop November 17.

Tha Bizness have crafted another banger of a beat. I'd love to hear '03-04 50 Cent on this track.
Pill's energy is great, but his enthusiasm and hyper flow create a slightly less enjoyable listen. I am looking for more before I crown Pill officially "Up Next."

Just wait, this guy will be the next big thing from the south. I remember hearing about Kid CuDi from a friend, when he just released his mixtape, and I was real impressed. I'm getting the same feeling about Pill as well.
As for the song it's pretty dope too. Tha Bizness always comes with nice beats and Pill's flow is great though he could be a little more charismatic, I really have no complaints. |

The news today was that Andre 3K personally gave Pill his stamp of approval, and I can see why. The beat's a monster and Pill holds up nicely under the pressure, delivering a strong and memorable flow. I'll definitely be on the lookout for more from the man.

This track is not my style, theres a lot of energy here as DJ Z said but everything here seems to be a little disorganized, the production needs to be re thought out here.

It bangs. The production is quality. "I'm about to call the zoo, becuz there's alot of monkies missing" Yo! "gone slap the *it out your manager for believing in that ish ya'll done packaged up" If Pill keeps lyrics like that flowing he gone definitely get it done.
