Phresh James - Snappin'NTrappin
Artist: Phresh James
Producer: Rem
Album: TheGreaterGoodEP
Label: Unsigned
From Chasing Karats to Snappin’ N Style, it’s no secret that South Florida spitter Phresh James boasts an impressive array of unexpected talents. On his latest Booth feature, James and his lyrical comrade, fellow rhymedropper FDotLawless of The Foodchain, swap verses filled with witty wordplay and clever candor as they allow their bars to float over producer REM‘s intricate boardwork, which includes various motivational audio clips from the likes of Will Smith and RZA. While Snappin’ N Style serves as a small audio glimpse at what can be expected on the Floridian rhymesayer’s forthcoming TheGreaterGood EP, you can also put on your ThinkingHat because that is just What It Is.

I liked the direction this song was headed, but I believe it could have used one more verse to close out the record in strong form. Potential not met, but the end result still pleasing.

Wow wish this was a big longer. Loving the flow and the lines. Some dope punch lines here and there. Loving the audio clips inbetween. Some dope meaning in them. I agree with DJ Z, one more verse and this would've been amazing.

another short song! But Phresh James has a great flow. Although at some points the beats felt like they were overlapping distastefully and basically crashing into each other.
