You know Peter Jackson, the bearded New Zealander who adapted Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings trilogy into three of the biggest blockbusters in cinema history?  Well, this Booth newcomer is an entirely different person, but, like the director who shares his name, Peter Jackson the emcee has a lot of cash—so much, in fact, that his neighbors know him as the Paper Boy.  On the latest single off his yet-untitled debut LP, the T-dot native describes his beginnings as a hungry go-getter working a paper route, the parties than padded his pockets during his college years, and how he ultimately grew into high-rolling rapper getting rich off sold-out shows. In between Jackson’s opening and closing verses, Detroit’s Royce Da 5’9 steps up to the mic to spit a colorful, metaphor-laced chronicle of his own paper chase.  Sheldon Moore‘s relatively sparse, percussion-driven production leaves the emcees’ rhymes front and center, but, with the help of a clever bicycle-bell sound effect, brings enough personality to keep Paper Boy rolling through listeners’ heads, stirring up some buzz for the November release of It Was All a Dream.

Ha, love Lord of the Rings. And I feel this too. I like the production. And his flow isn't bad either. I'll put this one into rotation.

I wonder what's more ridiculous, Royce not bein@ on a Vibe @reatest rapper Bracket Or the contest itself? The man is clearly one of the best breathin. I'm not feelin this beat that much, but the verses were cool.

This is good enough for rotation, mostly due to the verses. The hook was filler and the production served its purpose, but the verses are where it happens. I liked what PJ came wit, and Royce did his thang.

I agree with Juanito_88, If you can get past the hook, the rest of the song is pretty good ...
Well played production that features some tough rhymes by both Peter & Royce dat makes you listen !!! ... Easy-Rotation

Not many emcees can hold their own with Royce on a track - just ask him, as he told me, Budden and Ortiz can't even keep up! Welcome to the the Booth, Mr. Jackson.

The chorus gets annoying by the the third go-round, but all three verses are enjoyable.

not that bad.... it's like the beat is missing something. good effort however... like others said, what's up with the hook?? too lazy to kick some fresh lyrics?

This is decent, but the hook and production could have been better. The verses were good though, bumping it up to rotation status.

I love his flow but there's something lacking in the production...the beat is good but I'm not crazy for the music! It's an overall pretty result, though. 2,5

Basically what everybody else has stated. The hook gets annoying after a while..the production is decent and the lyrics make the song. Decent listen
