After the disappointment of Rain At Home (one of the lowest-rated tracks since DJBooth implemented a rating system), the ladies of Peach Candy knew they had to find a way to redeem themselves. Luckily, since Kandi is an Xscape alumnus and Grammy-winning songwriter, her skills were put to work on the baby-mama-drama anthem, I Wish I Never. Rasheeda adds a humorous twist on her verse, but the highlight is undoubtedly the masculine POV by fellow ATLien Yung Joc. Even though radio producers will have their work cut out for them (thanks to long f-bombs on the hook), I Wish I Never has the Don Vito-inspired potential to make it to radio.
Oooh, this song is steamy hot, haha. Their vocals are average and the production is odd for the lyrical content, I was expecting some hood beat with a banging bass. Yung Joc's adds to the overall quality of the track but these girls still have a long way to go.
This could make it to radio, but I would turn the station 99% of the time this came on. They look good tho, so that could probably save them. They can't sing that great in my opinion. They will need lots of good luck on their excursion to the top because I doubt they will make it far...
If Ciara and Eve did this same song, people would be going crazy talking about the collaboration. Don Vito offers up a solid beat and the ladies do their thing. Joc, for some reason, is much better on guest verses than his own material. Save some of that fire cuz!
Ladies pleez.. If you don't wana come accros as hoez then don't make music like dis because you just degrading yourselvs as women.. The song does have some real talk stuff in it though & I think alot of gurls can relate to it in someway so ima give them a 3star for spitting the things that most ladies dont wanna admit.. The track itself is alryte, nice beat too..
dj blaze is right... but lets pray it never even makes it to redio. and what kills me the most is how all the hoes start off saying "well first off let me say im not a hoe". cmon now ladies. be real. if u sleep, then u sleep. so what?! if their first track was one of the lowest on here ever, i hope this one follows it. next subject...
I LIKE THE SONG SIMPLY BECUZ ITS REAL TALK ME PERSONALLY I CANT RELATE TO IT BUT IN THIS DAY AND AGE IM SURE THERES ABOUT A BILLION FEMALE/MALE WHO CAN... I DNT WANNA GET TO THAT POINT WHERE IM WISHIN' I NEVER...
