Don’t let their collective stage name fool you; Dallas’ Party Boyz are about more than just having a raucous good time. On the contrary, Booth newcomers 211, Da Sh*t Factory, Gutta Twinz, Settle4Le$ and Swagg Kingzz also enjoy chess, stamp collecting, long walks on the beach and… aw, who am I kidding? Though my wild speculations could very well be true, all I can glean from this newly-released remix of current single Flex is that these nice young men really, really like sex – the freakier, the better. Over DJ Mr. Rogers’ synth-percussion production, the group engage in some verbal intercourse on the topic of, well, intercourse. The ever-horny T-Pain steps up to the mic with a rapped opener sure to elicit a few chuckles (“All my hoes still come like combo meals – would you like thighs with that?”), and So Icey up-and-comer Waka Flocka Flame rounds out the guest lineup, serving up equally racy rhymes later in the track. If this sexed-up remix leaves you hungry for more from the Party Boyz, pick up a copy of their latest LP, We’re in That Thing, when it hits stores March 30.

With all due respect to the Party Boyz not even Michael Jackson could make this song an enjoyable listen for me. Disappointing too considering any song created by a Doctor should be in better hands (I joke, I kid).
Regionally this will continue to hit, but I cannot co-sign it.

Um....part of me wants to never hear this again, and part of me wants to get hammered and bang the hell out of it at a house party. Honestly, if this was just T-Pain I'd be loving it, but I don't know what the Party Boyz added.

Party Boyz...YAWN...don't listen to the blurb's ending, it will change (their album is NEVER dropping)
T-Pain...does what he can. Still, listen to "Reverse Cowgirl" for his better form. Waka Flocka...First Booth appearance...and I hope it's his last. DJ Mr. Rogers? You can do SOOOO much better! (I've heard your work for the Boss Hogg Outlawz) MempHiTz needs to get his priorities straight...the fact that he's making this tear up the Hot 100 while ignoring a much BETTER single by his artist (K. Michelle's "Fallin'") shows how downhill the industry's gotten. BTW, if you're keeping score, Asia Cruise has left the Hitz, and K. Michelle is trying to get off (but stay on Jive). I wouldn't be surprised if Huey tried to secure a release too. Original is a 1, Pain makes this a 2. |
