This past January, Uncle Murda recorded and released Hard to Kill; the story of a shootout with the NYPD in which he was grazed in the head by a bullet. Murda’s rival (and longtime mixtape assassin) Papoose smelled something fishy, however, and doesn’t buy the supposed “crossfire” story. Using the instrumental to the Biggie classic Who Shot Ya, Pap makes various claims that indicate the tale is fictional. His strongest point is arguably that had he been shot by the police, he would currently be six feet deep. DJBooth will keep you posted on the inevitable response from Murda.
god damn!...papoose gets it done on this...if you want raw street lyricism look no further than pap...i like how he alludes to biggie's verses but still makes them his own...change his name to uncle murdered
Pap proves once again he's the best rapper w/out a deal. And peeps wanna know why hiphop is dead, cause peeps like Mike Jones got deals and not Pap! Who??? MIKE JONES PLAYA!
This is FIRE right here from Papoose. He went over the Biggie track flawlessly. He is probably the best artist without a deal; but instead of concentrating on tracks like this, he should be trying to figure out how to get that album released! We need more Papoose and on a REAL album this time...I already have about 12 Papoose mixtapes!
