Hurricane Chris, you’ve created a monster! Looking to repeat the massive success of She’s Fine (Halle Berry), Lil’ Flip released a hip-hop tribute to Kim Kardashian, and Chingy threw his hat into the ring with an ode to Ms. Keri (neither of which got featured on the Booth). Straight outta Huntsville, Alabama, the Paper Route Gangstaz are bringing a much-needed dose of originality to the “lady name-drop” subgenre. Though the group have named this track after R&B songstress Keyshia Cole, Dawgy Baggz, Mata, Jhi-Ali, and Gunt aren’t actually talking about a woman, but rather a particularly potent brand of weed. Though the concept may leave some tempted to click the “1-star” button, Ain’t I producer Ben Frank‘s beat should get this record the thumbs-up from most of our regulars. Whether or not this new single suceeds in getting an endorsement from its namesake, fans can find plenty more Southern-rap bangers on the Gangstaz’ Rocket Fuel EP (due out soon, though E1 has yet to announce an exact date).

Not feelin' it. The beat isn't so bad but PRG are just boring, even the chorus is forgettable.
I can't think of the rapper but PRG sounds like someone I've heard before. Whatever, I hope this “lady name-drop” ends. I don't get why so many rappers follow trends instead of creating new ones. But I guess if someone did a “death of the lady name-drop” they would be called a hater or knocking the hustle. (Like how dudes treating Jay-Z) |

Deese N*ggas need to STOP!
I'm tired of hearing about weed anyway . That ish kills brain cells. I wouldn't reiteriate this so much if the people talking about didn't prove my point so easily. For example, these dudes. Here's another one: I was at work today at Subway, and my new co-worker didn't know jack about nothing. But when the topic of weed came up, she was a Harvard Grad with that knowledge. She was talking about red hairs on it and stuffa and different kinds. Then, what topped it off was that she said one time they were out of papers and rellos, so they rolled some in some Tampon paper. Now IF THAT DOESN'T PROVE THE WEED KILLS BRAIN CELLS, IDK WHAT DOES! The beat on this was cool...but they need to sit down somewhere. I hope Keyshia doesn't cosign this song like it's really good. |

Uh....weed? How and the hell can authorities let folks sing about drugs, knowing they really do it, and they don't get locked up? Anyways, this is trash.

Haha...I'll step up. As far as odes to weed go, this isn't bad. Ben Frank also made the beat work well with each of the Paper Route members. Will the Gangstaz toss out something else that's sick? To be decided, but I'll put this one in rotation.

These rappers suck. THe beat is decent though. THe hook is alright. I wont say it's garbage because my definition of garbage is i'd never wanna hear it again and if this plays again, i'd be ok with it. Not happy, just ok.

When i saw that the average rating was 1.5 stars, i had to hear this for myself, and frankly, i agree with it. The production and hook are decent, but EVERYTHING else about this song dissapoints. The concept is horrible too. I get tired of a lot of rappers only talkin about drugs, girls and gettin money.

PRGz wasn't tryna jump no bandwagon and name the song after something simply cause everybody else had songs named after fine females. Its simply what we actually call OG Kush down in Bama.
