The NBA’s Pacific Division is typically one of the strongest divisions in the league thanks to perennial powerhouses such as the Phoenix Suns and L.A. Lakers. Similarly, hip-hop’s Pacific Division has comparable power in the underground, sparking a bidding war between Ludacris (on behalf of DTP/Def Jam) and Sylvia Rhone (on behalf of Universal) for the group’s musical services. Choosing to sidestep SoCal’s typical hardcore gangsta rap stereotype, the L.A. based trio of Like, Mibbs and BeYoung explain that even FAT Boys can get plenty of love from the ladies on their new single. Thanks to a catchy, simplistic beat from producer Swiff D, people of all shapes and sizes will be dancing and Pac Div will make one lucky label fat and happy.
Pac Div are HUGE on the underground scene and soon will be just as HUEG on the major level. They remind me of local Chicago favorites, The Cool Kids. Hot song!
what the hell Burmy how u gonna mention the Suns when they haven't won no championships since i can remember?? how you gonna leave out the Spurs??? that aint right man!
This beat is alot like Money in the Bank, swizzy... and Touch It....
They all have a very small hint of hyphy in their voices, its unique and I like it. They sound like they can rap, I agree, but I'm not sure on this club-ready track. Beat is hot though and all 3 in the group sound good. ROTATION
donjonjon, the Spurs are in the SOUTHWEST Division, and I'm talking about the PACIFIC division here. The Suns seem to make the playoffs every year, plus they're my favorite team, so I mentioned them. And this track is a BANGER, hope they get a deal real soon.
