Born in Magnolia, Arkansas, but currently residing in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, P. Bze has a master plan to take his name nationwide. Since posting his Easy Money Vol. 1 mixtape for free download on his Myspace, he has not only gained notoriety in the Dirty South, but in the West Coast and Midwest as well. On the surface his new single, Watch Me Do It, sounds just like any other Southern cookie-cutter swag anthem. However, if you take a closer listen, you might discover the unique regional voice P. Bze brings to our national stage. What undeniably gives Watch Me Do It a shot at heat seeker success, though, is the ominous, string-heavy beat from NeckBone in-house producer, 2Klean. Still, the question remains: does the hip-hop world have room for another track bragging about freshness and style?
He kinda reminds me of a B.G. type of flow. You are right, at first; I thought it was just some ordinary song from the south; but this is bumpin and he can rap. I don't know how far its going to go because it is so generic with the chorus.
P. Bze has been making a LOT of noise down in Texas. Our good friends at OGPR are really jumping on the P. Bze bandwagon and with a track record of UGK and Chamillionaire behind them, we here at DJBooth trust their talent level. GREAT production.
At first I thought "oh god another club banger" but this is hot. Really like the voice, semi-similar to jody breeze but higher pitched I think. One of the best kind of these songs I've heard in a while, BANGER
