The duo of Andre 3000 and Big Boi are back at it again with The Art of Storytellin’ (Part 4), set to be featured on (who else) DJ Drama’s upcoming release of Gangsta Grillz: The Album. Last heard from on Idlewild’s, Hollywood Divorce, the legendary ATliens have seemingly skipped the third part of their series of storytelling. While the first two parts were featured on the double platinum, Aquemini, and included the assistance of Slick Rick, part four comes nine years later and is assisted by the soulful Marsha Ambrosius of the group Floetry. As OutKast turns another page in the story of their career, fans anxiously await word on the possibility of another new part; the sooner the better.
Listen to Outkast's The Art of Storytellin (Part 4) ft. Marsha Ambrosius More songs from Outkast
Andre 3000 has stepped his game up the same way Weezy has. Dre is probably the only rapper out there that can compete with Wayne on a lyrical level right now. He is just so ill on everything he spits on. Big Boi is right on point and Marsha is perfect as usual. Don Cannon is such an underrated producer, I hope to see more work from him in the future. OutKast flava right hur!
I have been on this website daily for about 5 months now, and I can honestly say that this is one of the top 5 all-time songs that you guys have posted. The flows from dre and big boi are both on point, the only problem i have is that Outkast is letting this song go to DJ Drama (grrr) instead of waiting and putting it on their next album. Overall though, HOT!
3000 is the best thing smokin right now all the guest spots he featured on he took over like tone said the same as wayne. but difference is 3000 is way more lyrical in deep thought. they both on top the game right now though.
this is incredible, they havent missed a step.
It s a chill song, but i think it can be remixed into a club joint. SBHS, how are you making this work in the club, as is?
Andre's verse is hot "out here Brett Favre'n", Big Boi did a good job too... feeling the beat, the hook, and the horn sounds like a down south marching band. Outkast definitely won with this track.
MAN THA LAST PART OF 2007 HAS BEEN A BREATH OF FRESH AIR
U HAVE KANYE ,COMMON, WILL I AM , AND NOW OUTKAST IM LOVIN IT YA DIGG KEPP IT COMMIN MAYBE THESE FUCKED OFF RINGTONE ARTISTS FADE AWAY AND WE CAN GET BACK THA MUSIC WIT SUBSTANCE!
damn. that andre verse is seriously good. I agree he is definitely on weezy's level. Actually bottom boi said it right, I think Andre can be a lot deeper and socially conscious. But i give Weezy props cuz he puts out SO MANY songs, most of them for free.
3000 has been my boy since he told that dude his name was Bill Bixby on punked lmao!
there could have been more on this one, its almost like they saved some of this song for something else at a later date?
7-10
Hot classic Outkast! The beat definitely grows on you. Andre 3000 always seems to amaze me! He knows how to formulate songs, and kill it with the pen and pad! And Big Boi compliments him perfect. One of the best groups ever.
cant wait until DJ Drama's Gangsta Grillz: The Album drops...thats gonna be fire!

This is why Andre is my favorite rapper hands down. Weezy is killin it and deserves the title king of the guest spot cuz he is everywhere, but I'll put Dre's verses up against his anytime, from Throw Some D's, or Player's Anthem, or the Lloyd remix, or especially this one here. I agree with bottom boi, Weezy and Dre are both killin it on a different level than everyone else out there, but for the most part Wayne doesnt reflect the depth of thought that Dre does almost everytime around.
This is FIRE! If the rest of their album is going to sound like this, then it is all over for everyone else! I love how Andre shows everyone that even though he does POP, he is one of the hottest rappers as well! He always rips the mic and Big Boi just completes the duo for the one two punch. Great Track!
Man listen they lyrics, this fire! Outkast make nothing but hits, man they can flow. Nobody can take that from them cause they already legendary, because this something you can jam to in ya ride. Oh and for yall this is part 4, for those who thought it didn't sound complete.
I think its about time to say it. ANDRE 3000 is the best rapper ever, way more creative than 2 pac and much more knowledgeable and creative then lil wayne. If wayne expands and talks more than just money he will elevate higher up but until then ANDRE 3000 is a living ledgen. Give respect where its do Young thundercats..
the greatest group of all time. tang had the moment in history but thats it history outkast was making noise when the south wasnt getting any publicity and to still be selling platinum to this day is pretty much unheard of. i know some may not agree but like jay say men lie women lie numbers dont outkast best selling rap group of all time
Uh,Andre more creative than Tupac, man that's a little too extreme. I love Tupac he is a leaugue of his own, he created his own category! Don't compare him with nobady cause that man isn't legendary, but a legend. Don't go too far!!!!!!!! I mean you going to have to put Biggie, and every other legend, ya cazy bout that!
Oh I am sorry Chanel and no disrespect to 2 Pac as I was raised in Cali off his music.. but he definatly is the best spiritual artist that was way ahead of his time that we will never see agian. But to categorize creativity goes to 3000 lyrics goes to 3000 storytelling ability to take you around the world 3000. What dre is doing is new millinium not post Y2K. So you really cant compare the two times. Now if pac was alive we probably cant even imagine the realms he would have touched.
Best spiritual rapper, uh ya sure ya listened to him! No boo he was very creative and trust his shit was gangsta, truthful, lyrical and all of theabove! So I love Andre 3000 but like I sai don't compare he is a legend, cause he dead, but ya'll still vibe to a CD that was released not to long ago!
'Wayne is very talented, just needs more experience; 3000's flow is complex, it always is unlike most new "artists" you new a few rotations of this song just to absorb it; the beat knocks too! so if you got nothin good to say 'bout 3k say nathen
It is a pleasure to listen to these two pioneers spit lyrics on any track. They both deserve their recognition as the greatest duos in the rap/hip-hop industry. They keep getting stronger. When they come out with a new album, I will be waiting like a lion waiting for a gazelle.
The chorus is nice; the female voice is just right.
Track is tight! Love Dre and Boi. I like the Outkast/Slick Rick (one of the best ever) better but this is sick for the times. Don Cannon is underrated, CANNON CANNON (in the monotone voice) I LOVE THAT SHIIT
Dre is on another level from mostly everybody else out there. I dont think there is another Artist out there that is as deep and as lyrical as 3 Stacks. Can't wait to remix this one boy!!!!!
WOW this is one of the best hip-hop songs i've heard in awhile..smooth as a baby whale rolled in butter with the lyrics. 5 starrzz salute CLASSIC like coca-cola
outcast is retarded stupid man, there old shit is good but wtf is this!?!? all i hear is garbage.....this is a type a song u listen to by youself and dont tell nobody you like it unless they say they like it first...negative spins
OutKast was one of the first hip hop group that i ever listened to and still to this day am a huge fan. I respect these two because they continue to make great music and pave their own path instead of following behind others. One of the most underrated hip hop groups ever!
Some have it right, others are off their rocker. Outkast is the G.O.A.T. as far as groups. IMHO, Andre is the G.O.A.T. as an individual artist. Lil Waye can't hold Dre's nutz much less hold the same spot as being equal to Mr. 3 Stacks. There is no one alive that is on Andre's level.
Outkast let Drama get this track because their next album is going to be even better than ATLiens. Believe that! They've got much better material than this track and I can't wait for the album to drop.

Naw......ANDRE defines creativity!!!!!! Pac is NO WHERE even close to ANDRE creatively. Andre 3000's lyrics from 1996 are more relevant than 90% of rappers out today.
Please don't get it twisted, when you talkin' 'bout 3 Stacks, you're talkin' 'bout tha G.O.A.T.

Again, you might need to do so research on how "gangsta" Pac really was. Or the fact that he's from NY not Cali. There is nothing fake about Andre 3000. He's got more hot lyrics on Outkast's album "ATLiens" than you can find on all of Pac's albums combined.
Andre 3000 = G.O.A.T.
"DJ FRESHNESS
outcast is retarded stupid man, there old shit is good but wtf is this!?!? all i hear is garbage.....this is a type a song u listen to by youself and dont tell nobody you like it unless they say they like it first...negative spins"
DJ FRESHNESS = VANILLA ICE
Are you serious????? Put the crack pipe down hater!!!!! If all you hear is garbage when you listen to this record, then you must not get too many bookings to spin at clubs ;-)
Part 1 & 2 were great. I don't know what happened to part 3, but this song is fire. Everything from the production to the rhymes are all on point. Too bad this is on DJ Drama's album which I won't be buying. I will have to look for it on another mixtape, the free kind.
Of course 3stacks verse was a crazy sick conceptual hard ass verse that makes u think as always. But i was a little surprised at bigboi's verse it wasn't hot as i thought it would be. Overall this track is one of the best sequential songs i ever heard in hiphop.
