Last week, we premiered brand new freestyles from Novel (Soul Survivor) and K. Sparks (Soul Child). Now, we’re proud to bring readers the third entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series. Outasight’s Rehearsal Tape sees the NYC rapper rhyming over original production by 6th Sense (who contributes his own freestyled verse on the back end). In addition to performing select tour dates at venues across the East Coast, Outasight is currently preparing for the June release of his latest LP, From Here to Eternity.

I wasn't sure on the production, finally decided that rather than being wack, it's a fresh and sweet sound.

This is no joke. I disagree with some of the people on this - the production is simple but tight nonetheless. Both MCs come with some creative wordplay on this one. Best of all, you can tell that they were just having fun with it - which is the true essence of a freestyle. Some dope ish right here.

I think 6th Sense actually outshines Outasight on this one. No disrespect to Outasight, cuz he came correct too, but the last few bars 6th spits were for real.
