Like another Booth feature today, Jared Evan’s Frozen (Remix), Outasight’s retro-influenced and possibly Leonardo DiCaprio inspired jam Catch Me If You Can first dropped way back in November, and is now getting the remix treatment today with the addition of a guest verse. Here 6th Sense’s classic rock meets big band R&B production remains untouched, as are Outasight’s heavily stylized vocals. The newness here comes in the form of an Asher Roth guest verse, who continues his campaign for Most Improved Emcee with yet another solid and often abstract verse (see Childish Games, F**k the Money, etc. for more). Is it time we started giving Asher his dues as a lyricist, or does he still have a ways to go? Have at it Booth nation. Those lucky enough to be at the SWSW festival can catch Outasight in Austin, while those stuck at home (like yours truly) can only hope to approximate the experience with projects like the Elitaste and Nue Agency Present: Best Of All Worlds SXSW Showcase Mixtape, out now.

This is cool, but I don't feel that it's an improvement on the original. Asher's verse was pretty good, but it throws off the vibe of the song. While I understand what he was doing with the voice effect, it doesn't really match Outasight. While it's not quite an improvement, it's not much worse either...Definitely still bangin!

BayToLA is right - its dope, but nothing more or less impressive than the original version. I (kinda) like Asher rapping over the 6th Sense boardwork, but the song was tailored for OU so he just sounds more natural (maybe because I heard the Asher-less verse first I am writing this... not sure).

Either way you swing on this one be sure to check out our one-on-one with Outasight next Tuesday, the 23rd.

Production on this is insane but OU has done better, vocally and lyrically.

6th Sense beat is a 3 alone and Outasight came correct. Asher didn't I'm prove the track, but he didn't ruin it either.

Loved the track originally, and it's not really changed, so I'm basically just rating Asher's verse, which wasn't incredible but at the very least didn't make the track any worse. Four stars for you!

This song is really tight; Asher’s verse is the best I’ve heard him rap in a long time.

Similar to Jared Evan's inclusion of Freddie Gibbs & Rich Boy on "Frozen [Remix]" there was no need to feature a guest 16 from Asher Roth on this. The original is quality enough.

I like the rock feel to this joint. Both artists bring it on the mic and the production jamz.

Whoa!!! Ash Roth really came with it on this remix. I guess if the only change on a song is going to be a guest verse then it might as well be high caliber, right? Loved the original and Asher did not disappoint. Imagine Roth doing an entire album rhyming like this... 4/5
