Although Colorado Springs OneRepublic has been getting attention on MySpace since the summer of ‘06, their breakout moment came when a reworked version of their song Apologize was released as the third single from Timbaland‘s latest, Shock Value. Since then it has charted #1 in twelve countries; leading up to their debut album, Dreaming Out Loud, which was released November 20th. With instant success comes an inevitable remix with only one setting is in mind: the club. As the original lyrics are maintained, a new keyboard-synth beat by Lil’ Jon is added and should extend Apologize‘s appeal to the dance floor. Dreaming Out Loud is now available in stores.
first, lil jon couldn't smoke even timbo's old fruity loops beats he did for aaliyah. second, if you listen, the beat he did come up with is virtually identical to timbo's beat, with just different effects used. i give this a 1 for trying to fix somethin that ain't broke.
This song is terrible, who cares about who's beat is better? You can't make a bad song better by switching the beat up. I'd give this song a zero, but one is as low as I can go!
First there was not reason to remix this and I have to cosign what Z said.....although I most admit I expected worse from lil jon just glad he didnt start screaming all over the song...also even though this aint my type of music I fu cks with this joint
I honestly really really like the original track and my brother (who is hardcore Street @*#$! only Rap fan) and he even likes the original song and all of timberlands complex beats. This is a decent remix, but that original beat goes with this son too perfectly. It can't be done better than perfection. It is a good attempt by Lil Jon, but this just isn't where he shines the most. Decent job though...
twotwofive- the apologize remix sucks its just verses taken from lil wayne and bun b's song 'good girl gone bad' it was just some dj who made it...defintely unofficial
damn this song is good and fuk got to rep lil jon ... he commin back and can't wait .... the dude who could get a club crunk by just sayin one word haha
love the original song, the one wit timb, and the one wit wayne...but idk about this one....i love these types of beats...but im not digging this song so much
Love the beat...and Love the Song. This song(the original) is one of the only songs that I can listen to over and over again and not get bored of it, even though it is overplayed on the radio. I think LIL WAYNE VERSION of this song is the best!
i don't like this song lil jon was doin too much how come he just couldn't leave it alone and let wayne, bun b, and timbaland do they thing but like i said they doin way too much!!!!
