In 2005, Usher announced he started his own record label, US Records. The flagship artists on the label were songwriter/rapper Rico Love and R&B quartet One Chance. Despite both acts receiving a spot on the soundtrack to Usher’s film debut, In The Mix, neither has released their major label debut. Although label frustrations have stunted the development of the Chicago-based One Chance, they have continued to record new material and leak banger after banger. Following the leaked cuts U Can’t and Get On Top; Rob, Jon, Michael and Courtney have cooked up the sexy dance floor hit, Slow Mo. Featuring Akon-signee’s Rock City, the song has an authentic island vibe that’s sure to capture the hearts and bodies of women around the world.
its aiight...it sounds like only one member of tha group's singin tho..."Get On Top" and "U Cant" were both soooo much betta tho...im ALWAYZ bangin em in tha car...bass and volume ALLLL tha way up...lol...but this one's not one of my fave's...ill jus have to let it grow on me...ya diggz??...~

I like Rock City's part. I need to find out the name of the two diff artists. However, their other collab (Birthday) together was much better... Don't know why they're throwing this out. Out of all of Akon's men (and women), Colby & Rock City seem to have the talent. I'd put Gypsy Strokes & Brick N Lace after. Don't like Ray-L much..
I like their other tracks better than this one. I don't know why; but this one sounds a little homo-ish. Not that there is anything wrong with that; if that's the way someone wants to go..but I am not feeling it.
cornaboyz have some volatile production man...i hope they get that ht that propels them too the top. as for this song, one chance just don't quite get it there for me...
yo dat track waz hott fam...dj hot dj flame wateva...dat nigga dont kno wat he talkin bout son...da track waz hott...o yeah homo-ish are u kidin me its 4 da gurlz what itz suppose to sound lyke...dumn ha!!!
One Chance is my favorite R&B band of those I found here on djbooth (along with I15), I totally support’em! At first I thought the beat was all about this song but then, when I heard it better on my Mp3, I guess they really did the best they could with this. Actually is the beat that doesn’t let’em go further with the melody as they did with “My word”, “private”, “U can’t”, etc… they come up with really catchy and fresh melodies, and that’s rare nowadays. This deserves at least 3!
They sound waaayyy too young to be gettin' anybody home with them! "Slow Mo" was really fast yo! Anyways, Rock City did his thing, the track overall I don't care for but I can see it going somewhere for a minute...
I like their voices in this song, even though I would have been okay with Rock City not being on the track. One Chance held their own and to me Rock City was just a distraction, what 15 seconds on the song WOW!!!
I really like this song, tight production, good vocals. I was really hoping One Chance would get over the edge and become then next big R&B group, we need someone to take 112 or Dru Hill's spot! but unfortunately they are stuck in label limbo, hopefully an album comes coon!
ok...where can i find an intramental...the fuckin beat is like slicin thru my eardrums like a fuckin hot knife thru butta..lol
rating is for beat...lyrics is cool but i do agree..not their best..
