Most recently heard flaunting his skills on the braggadocio-packed Half Man, Los Angeles representative One-2 gets a little more personal on his latest unreleased joint. On Seven Miles, a joint dedicated to friends and family who have passed on, the artist tackles the topic of the fragility of human life. As Komplex flips an elegiac piano loop (sampled from singer/songwriter Sufjan Stevens’ The Seers’ Tower), he encourages listeners to make the most of their short time on Earth. Though this thought-provoking selection isn’t attached to any forthcoming project, fans can, of course, check back with the Booth for all the latest from the West Coast up-and-comer.
