For some listeners, the term “Hardcore” evokes images of rock sales and gang violence—for L.A. repper One-2, however, it’s all about staying true to the hip-hop tradition. On his latest feature, a newly-remixed version of a cut featured on his latest EP, the Treacherous Records emcee is joined by San Diego mainstay Jayo Felony over the street-ready production of Komplex. Fans can find the original version of Hardcore and much more on One-2’s recently-released Microphone Montana mixtape (downloadable here) as well as keeping it locked for the latest on double-EP History/Destiny (which will also feature the guest stylings of Jayo Felony).
