Some Rich Kids got gifted BMVs on their 16th birthday, but I had to work at the local sub shop for two summers just to buy my own used Pontiac. But they say poverty breeds creativity, which might go a long way towards explaining why
OnCue’s music is do dope. The latest release from the young raspy-voices phenom, Rich Kid finds Cuey grabbing frequent production partners Brandon Duvall and CJ Luzi for a hard driving beat that pairs pounding percussion with lighter synths – call it rebellious aspirational music. Vocally OnCue is as honest and versatile as ever, pairing autobiographical verses (“my mom kept arguing, wishin that I got that diploma / but f**k that sh*t, I wanna get rich”) with a supremely catchy hook that no doubt has live show audiences in mind. If you’re listening to this one while crashing on a friend’s couch, congrats – you just found your new anthem. Cuey's versatility, as both an emcee and singer, allows him to really take hold of his work. There is nothing wrong with giving way to a feature artist for a hook, bridge or verse, but the impact can be hurt as a result. Moving, borderline powerful, ready for repeat under headphones.

Really excites bout this. Cuey has been my fav for a long time now. It's his time to shine. His last work (Can't Wait) was f*cking awesome. This is such a great piece of his resume. Maybe another 'lefts over' type thig again? Hope.

I really like the video-game type sounds in the beat and the whole arrangement by Brenton Duvall & CJ Luzi is super-tight! OneCue sounds hungry and ready to take on the world in this one. BANGER!

This year is OnCue's year, i feel it's his time to take the spotlight. His last 2 mixtapes were classics and the build up on this track is so dope, CJ Luzi also my favourite producer doing it right now, he's so dam talented, fire.

Smooth flow along a bangin' beat. This is a real contender right here, great stuff. This beat has that electro vibe in it but it didn't overdo it. Brilliant
