The 151th entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Omniscient, an up-and-coming emcee (and first-time featuree) hailing from Miami, Florida. On his brand new, exclusive Sit on Down freestyle, the currently-unsigned rapper flows over original boardwork by Miami Beat Wave. Omniscient is currently preparing for the third-quarter release of his latest album, Social Work, as well as promoting his recently-dropped Evolucion EP. In addition, the emcee will be appearing on Latin Grammy award-winning group Locos por Juana‘s forthcoming full-length, Somos de la Calle.

Readers can download a copy of the newly-released In the Booth (Volume 4), featuring exclusive freestyles 91 through 120, here! Volumes one, two and three are available for download here, here and here.

Just like on American Idol when the judges scrutinize the contestants song selection, beat selection in the DJBooth.net Freestyle Series is everything. Luckily, Omni got hooked up by MBW with some dope original production work. Lyrically, I would have liked to hear more but I am impressed with the effort.

Fact: This is only the second freestyle out of 151 entries that we selected despite not sending out an invitation. Kudos for the initiative!

Great relaxing beat, makes me feel I'm in a suit at a rich party with ray playin' piano in the distance... And Omni really kills it with his slow perfection of wordplay.

Off the bat, props to Omniscient for laying down such a relaxed flow. You don't have to come hard to come hard, if that makes any sense. Definitely a worthy edition to the series.
