Omarion - M.I.A
Artist: Omarion
Featuring: Wale
Producer: The Beat Bully
Album: Care Package EP
Label: Maybach Music Group
On a site where four-year gaps between features isn’t unheard of, six months M.I.A. is barely a blip on the radar. Still, with no fresh material from Omarion since this past May, fans of the Maybach crooner must be getting mighty hungry. While this cut doesn’t exactly qualify as new, having been included on Self Made Vol. 2 back in June, the release of its official video provides the perfect opportunity to get Omarion back on our front page. To complement the record, a breakup ballad featuring production by The Beat Bully and guest rhymes by labelmate Wale, director Topshelf Jr. creates a seamy domestic drama in miniature. Feeling it? You can still cop the record as part of MMG‘s latest compilation. Additionally, watch the Booth for the latest tunes leading up to the arrival of the singer’s new Care Package EP on Thursday, November 29.

I didn't understand the Omarion signing months ago, and I still don't get it. He just doesn't fit to me. I wish him nothing but the best, but it all seems forced.
And don't forget, we are giving DJBooth members a chance to win SOL REPUBLIC headphones just for leaving feedback/ratings on all our daily music features! |

It is a pretty odd move Z... I agree with you there, but I think it can be successful. Omarion has real talent and the vocals are always good and he brings something different to the game. Always liked this one from the album... 3.5 out of 5...

Omarion is a very talented singer and bringing along Wale for a feature is never a bad thing. I'll admit the MMG signing was a bit odd like Z said, but I definitely think that Omarion brings something very positive to the table. Overall great track; Wale and Omarion killed it.

Good vocals, but this one was pretty dull. Nice touch from Wale.

Every time I see Omarion I just think about those b2k allegations. But putting that aside! Omarion did good in this track. His vocals were not bad but they were not spectacular. I was anticipating Wale's part and he delivered. The beat was forgettable

Song is aight, not something I'd bump on the regular. Beat is cool, Wale verse was eh to me, but the singing fit the track. Don't feel like the video matches the song in the respect of visually he's cheating cause she's not there versus giving up on love cause it's not there.
