Shady Records artist Obie Trice had a tumultuous 2006; fellow MC and best friend Proof was shot and killed, Obie himself got shot twice while driving on a Detroit Expressway and album sales for his sophomore release, Second Round’s On Me, were disappointing to say the least. Lucky for Obie, time heals all wounds (figurative and literal). Nearing the end of 2007 Obie has leaked a fun club called entitled 3 Baby Daddy. To some, having a baby mama who has three (count em’) baby daddies is enough to say “good bye.” Fortunately, Obie finds his predicament amusing; let’s assume that’s because it’s just a song. Trice will release his third studio album, Bottom’s Up, in mid-2008.
Song is alright. I can listen to it all and not skip it, like some of these other songs on here. I can understand all what he's rapping about, and he's not talking about 100 subjects in one verse, like other rappers. I think lyrical content is more important than trying to freestyle and rhyme bullshit just because you want to be the best rapper alive. Obie is a true lyricist! Can't wait to pick this one up
I am happy to see obie come back and still flow, because he brings something different to the game in my opinion. He is different than all the other rappers on the interscope umbrella. A good stand-alone addition to the strong label for sure. The flow in this song is hot!
man if you listen to obie from jump you know he talks about everything in between. He is one of the few artist I can listen to without skipping a track. Hes like the up north version of devin da dude he has humor in his rhymes but it be everyday @*#$! we all go through or at least most of us
