After his N.O.R.E. y la familia. . . ya tú sabe album last summer, Queens-based N.O.R.E (aka Noreaga) brings it back in English with Don’t Worry I’ll Wait, with special guest Three 6 Mafia. Produced by OZ & The Deacon for his soon-to-be released album, Global Warming, the track needs to be heated up. For one thing, the hum-off in the beginning and the end is just wack. And though the “Lean on Me” satire is funny, the vocals just aren’t working together. Either N.O.R.E. or 36M could have easily controlled this song, but when they go together, it gets too garbled. Maybe I’m being too harsh; so take a listen, don’t worry I’ll wait.
chorus just had too much squeezed in. and the humming… wtf was that about? and three six didn’t care because they wasn’t on it. smart move paul and juice. 50 cent and jay-z made worse and some of these same people above me brought their bullshit.
