R&B/pop singer Noelle has made a name for herself thanks to her “female remixes” of various national hits (among them Drop It Like It’s Hot, I Don’t Wanna Know, and So Sick). Ready to step out on her own, the Hollywood resident is making music that females can easily relate to with her album, It’s Personal. On Do It, Noelle has her eyes on a man (who also has his eyes on her), hoping he’ll get with her; after all, it’ll be a vast improvement over all of both of their past relationships. Thanks to Noelle’s strong vocals and producer Demjointz‘s high-energy beat, there’s no doubt that Do It will be perfect background music for all who are looking for hookups in the club. For more odes to life’s various big happenings, be on the lookout for It’s Personal, currently set to hit stores sometime before the end of ‘08.
I don't know about this one. The intro didn't woo me but the hook was satisfying. Noelle's voice is pleasant. I am not enjoying the beat. It sounds too loud and destructive. I need another listen.
Hmmmm....the beat sounds like some old dance Janet. Noelle's voice is really nice though. She sounds like a Black Madonna on the hook. I don't know. She's decent, but I'm not really feeling this production or style of song.
I'ts not bad. I could hear this on the radio and would rather over some of the the stuff I hear nowadays. It's something about this song that just sucks you in if you keep listening to it. This makes me wanna hit a top 40 club and drink ciroc.
For the most part, the beat just didn't work with the lyrics. For a lotta verses, it really felt like there was a lack of lyrical flow; just felt kinda off. That being said, I actually do like Noelle, she was hot on the 'so sick' remix. I'd still rather hear a better single from her, as this is on the brink of being out of her element.
I don't like the beat on this. I do see this killin the clubs though. It has hit potential in this era. Half the songs that sound like this suck to me but work well in modern society so I can see girls swingin they hair to this one.
I'm not feeling this at all. The beat is good no doubt, but is not for the lyrics to the song. She will definitely need to step her game up a bit. Her voice does sound original but this song is an umm no. 3 stars for effort.
With a voice that doesn't sound like any of her mainstream industry competition, Noelle should be able to create a niche for herself. With this song, she attempts to do so... but I am not sure she succeeds the way that I know she can. I've heard material from Noelle for the past five years and I KNOW she has talent. As the song says (and Nike, I believe), Do It!
