While most artists in hip-hop would never admit to being unable to “buy out the bar,” that is exactly the message of Queens-natives Stress, Sean Strange, Raida and O-Doub of No Good People on their new cut, Chug. Off their forthcoming debut, the foursome has capitalized on their momentum after finding themselves as finalists in Rolling Rock Presents: Original Sessions National Band Search. Being honored by a renowned beer company is no doubt special, but the members of No Good People are in it for much more. Since 65 percent of Americans (of the proper age) drink on an occasional basis, Chug is a perfect ode to an alcohol-influenced society without the over-used clichés of hip-hop’s bottle poppin’ image. Cheers to that!
Definitely a nice joint, finally a drinking song I can relate to. All these other rappers are rapping about bottles of shit I will never beable to afford, so I cant bang to it cause I cant relate to it. I can relate to drinkin 151 and some Heineken
this is tiiight. I can see it appealing to the same people who like Gym Class Heroes, but at the same time its much harder than anything they would put out.
The beat is sick, I want to scratch over it.
First verse is the best.
Solid solid track, kinda sounds like a boy band full of eminem clones though. Flow is good, sounds a lot better than half the stuff on the radio right now
I heard that one dude second form the left, lost is left foot in a shark accident!
all jokes aside where this one should be put.. lol!
haha!
its not that bad, I'm just playin the fool
5.5-10
I had my doubts when I heard the beat playing at first, but they really pulled this off and the lyrics is pretty good and actually help the beat. This could pop off in the club for sure!
