The project’s first official leak finds the up-and-coming buzzmaker and the smooth-talking vet trading wistful bars about—what else—the Gangsta’s Life that made them both the artists they are today. Hussle’s enthusiastic mic presence and Snoop’s understated yet engagingly unpredictable style complement each other just as well as fans would expect, and it’s all tied together with some compulsively head-bobbing boardwork; King David‘s sun-drenched guitar accompaniment and guest feature Pooh Bear‘s R&B hook make the street life seem almost… refreshing? If West Coast hip-hop’s glory days still have a hold on you, pick up a copy of Hussle’s debut LP when it (tentatively) hits stores on 12/22, and keep it locked to the Booth for all the latest on his and Snoop’s forthcoming mixtape.

I'm obsessed with all of Pooh Bear's hooks. He is such an unknown beast, it's a shame more people don't want him to grace their songs. Btw, D-o-g-g all day everydayyy.

This collaboration needed to happen but damn! they could have come up with another Title than this already beaten-to-death by The Gangsta's all over America. Lyrically, nothin new but it's a song that just works on so many levels that it's best not to question it. Snoop steals this sh*t as if he were an armed gunman at First National Bank ... BANGER!!!

Love it! I've been waiting for these two to get together on a song.
Since Nipsey's so silimar to Snoop, you can see and hear the influnce but how he's also is own artist. Pooh came smooth on the hook too. I love this joint |
