In When Great Trees Fall, the poet Maya Angelou writes, “Great souls die and our reality, bound to them, takes leave of us.” Having lost a close friend, Justin Grant, in late January, Soul Kitchen emcee Nino Augustine takes a moment to ask himself, “Is this a dream?” on new EP single Until Reality Hits. A TALL GUY FILMS provides the record’s understated official visuals. Augustine’s forthcoming EP has yet to receive a title or a solid drop date, but we’ll keep you posted on the project as further details emerge.
