Things seem to have gone sour for Nina and Natalie Albino of Nina Sky since last we heard from them.  On Curtain Call, the lead single off the duo’s long delayed sophomore LP, The Musical, the identical twins called on a special man to satisfy their needs.  He must not have been able to deliver the goods, however, as the follow-up finds the duo On Some Bullsh*t with the man in question.  Salaam Remi‘s production, which superimposes shivering synth arpeggios over a classic-sounding breakbeat, acts as a chilly counterpoint to the anger apparent in the lyrics, and it all leads up to a stunningly caustic chorus.  From what we’ve heard thus far, The Musical contains enough drama to satisfy even the most jaded theater buff.  Will this story have a happy ending?  We’ll have to wait until the LP drops in the first quarter of ‘09 to find out…

Nina Sky has, for the most part, been pretty consistent with high energy tracks that are club-ready. Whether they are my personal favorites is another story, but I gotta give it up to em. The energy on here is hot, and it's full of swagger as well. This is a big night for the ladies, I like this one.

This is boooooring!...Nothing new here at all. Lots of people could've pulled this track off better also (like the other track). I liked that one (We F*ck You) way better and that one was just ok....This is going in the trash.

Bye-bye. (wave)

@ Wow - nothing that Salaam Remi produces could EVER be considered garbage. In fact, you could remove my favorite twin sisters from this track, and just the instrumental is worth a 3, haha.

Add the sisters onto the track, and its about a 3.5. I'll round down... until I hear it in the clubs.

I'm feelin the production, it's catchy and cheerful. The melody is good but they sound really weak! I don't know if they can sing or not, I should hear them live, but their voices are weak. I hardly hear them! A pretty song which I would hear in a club but not in my mp3 player

They have catchy songs, but nothing really mind blowing so far. I don't think they even have a single prior to this, which I don't think will go far...

And guess what, I just looked and found Curtain Call, which I forgot about. I think that says something.

its ok i mean i guess it will catch on sooner or later at the clubs but the chorus is kind of lame since they are cussing up a storm but whatever

I'm really surprised with the low rating...
Like Z said, it's Remi everyone!
The girls just add an extra star to the 3* beat alone!
I don't like the kinda raping part, but anything else is fine.

hmmm... im all about "girl power" l0lsz... but this this is just isn't comin hard enough of me; like patty said . weak* the beat is way too much powerful than they are which is distracting and annoying.:S .. it does get stuck in my head tho.

Just listened to Beautiful People, which was a good song but this one was a notch below. I appreciate a woman with attitude and the ability to show that they can hold their own but these two just sound trashy. "New s@hit, f@ck what you heard"... for reals?
