When twin sisters Natalie and Nicole of Nina Sky recently jumped inside the DJBooth with our very own DJ Z to discuss their new album, The Musical, they revealed how their project came to life, “When you put together a musical, you want the right writers, the right musical score, the right theme.”  On the remix to their forthcoming album’s first single, Curtain Call, the ladies proved that their formula does indeed work.  After drafting Rick Ross for the original version, the New York natives spice things up with the addition of Mr. 305, Pitbull. Over a mellow beat from producers Big Bert and EST, Pit works his magic, rhyming about his time thus far in the industry and how much he’s feeling the ladies. Expect plenty of danceable bangers from Nina Sky once The Musical hits stores in early 2009.

Nina Sky does a pretty good job at making the clubs move, I like this track a lot. Its not that hard hitting club type, rather more laid back and chill. Pitbull tears this up, he needs to get on more of these type of joints. Great production, but Nina Sky still need major work on the vocals. Voice reminds me a little of Solange/Cassie, in that theyre both soft and just not that good. Ross brings the heat as well, I still like the song despite the weak vocals. In rotation, good vibe record.

Yeah this is a good songs. They are ok but I like this mostly for Pitbull...he sounds great here! Anyway I think this track can be suitable to many situations: chilling moments, club, car, radio...it isn't a banger, though, the melody doesn't stand out like it should...in rotation! Ps: Rick sounds great too

Love this song...remix doesn't make the song better since the original was just as good.

The original was solid and adding Pitbull to the remix does not in any way shape or form hurt the song. The ladies have some nice surprises up their sleeves and if you are not familiar with what those are....
